Great Dinner with Friends

Excellent food, a short wait (even with reservations), sort of noisy, good selection of vegetarian dishes, we weren't rushed and the service was good. Good breads, no pressure on wines although the wine selection was good. We've been there twice....not hard to find but it's out of the way. Would... read more

I like the food here - fresh local ingredients, and a full range of menu items from soup/salad to high end entrees. The ambience is OK, but it is a bit too loud for my taste. it is hard to have a conversation.

Very casual but high styled place, with high quality imaginative offerings. Not a large menu but there is something good for all tastes. It is definitely an adult restaurant but there are a lot of families with kids. Average noise levels. Wine list is a bit limited. Service is very nice. A very pleasant evening..

My husband and I had a lovely time today at the Cottage for brunch. It was our first visit and I was first struck by the friendliness of the staff and the bright and cheery atmosphere. We ordered the crab cakes and the West Coast Omelet. We split each plate so we could each try the dishes. We agreed that... More

Such a lovely setting, easy parking, great service. Nice menu, but the food is Ordinary. I had the lobster cobb salad. The lobster was previously frozen - was wet and rubbery. Salad lacked finesse - little dressing, stiff presentation.

My family frequents The Cottage. Last night we had dinner there and I ordered The hanger steak which I've gotten before and it has been great. We waited an hour to get 4 meals and we had young hungry kids with us and the restaurant was not crowded. I had asked for my steak to be cooked medium. When the... More

On a Spring Sunday morning, I wanted to find a family-friendly restaurant for my son and his school chums. It is a good thing that we made reservations in advance, however … almost everyone else in the Natick / Wellesley area had the same idea. And I can understand why … the variety of selections was wide, the food was... More

Went for Sunday brunch. Food was good. The bartender (a male) was condescending and didn't make eye contact. He didn't say good bye as we left. I hate bad customer service.

My first visit here a year ago was a pleasant surprise. I came back and found the experience sub par but thought maybe it was an off day. I was here again and found the experience exactly like last time. The food is average and the mahi tacos are tasteless not to mention the pasty, flavorless salsa. My guest had... More

Thank you for your insightful review. It seems apparent that we had some issues beyond normal execution issues. You bring up some very good points and we will look to improve on those areas. The food see to all be very flat and not up to our standards at all. Thank you again for your feed back and we will... More
