The place used to be an icon, now they have gone way down hill on the food and way up with the prices, it is never consistent. The enviroment is still the same fixtures as 40 years ago. The bar tenders are terrific that is why we go there, also town people make it very friendly.

The waitress was very nice and gave us very good service. The seafood orders were very good, but the steak was one of the worse I've ever been served. Poorly cut cheap piece of meat - overcooked. Stick with the seafood when you visit this place and you'll be happy.

On Tuesday 6-17-14 we had dinner at The Lodge and they had twin lobster for $17.00 .Fantastic price and very sweet lobsters. The food and bar services were superb. Atmosphere was great and reservations were not needed. Cant wait for next Tuesday and the enjoyment of twin lobster again. They also offered steak and lobster tails for $22.00 and the food... More

I had visited this restaurant over the summer and was not impressed. Due to geography, my son chose it for a wedding rehearsal dinner. It turned out to be absolutely wonderful! The food (we had a buffet) was fresh, hot and delicious. Everyone had good things to say about it. The dessert was even better, homemade apple crisp. The service... More

This place is horrible. We ordered the lobster roll which obviously was NOT fresh. The dressing was watery and the lobster meat was slimy and tasted bitter. The rice (as I've read in other reviews was terrible, was reheated in the microwave. My husbands red roasted potatoes were not cooked and the cole slaw was not fresh either. Complained to... More

We came to Webster to visit relatives again this year and drove past the lodge with its' 'Two Lobsters' special on Tuesday night. We loved it last year and hoped for the best this time. We weren't disappointed. The server was fantastic and we had 12 seated in our party. The food was delivered in a timely fashion and as... More

friendly folks, low key environment. menu consists of beef, seafood & chicken..some italian favorites. I like their chef salad, but, I like broiled seafood here also. It's not real contemporary cuisine....down home plain. I like atmosphere

Steaks have been good here for as long as I've known. They really know how to boil a lobster though, and the pricing is great when the Lobsters are in season and on special.

We ate at The Lodge last Friday. Found it to have an unpleasant odor when entering. (Could be the seafood? Other seafood restaurants don't smell quite like this.) Everyone but one person received their meal. The one had to wait. The french fries were undercooked and the fish was small and curled. One order was for the "special" fried clams.... More
