I'm a regular at the Coach Grill - last visit June 13th. I'm traveling for business a lot and have to eat in restaurants a lot. The food at Coach Grill has been very solid over the years. The steaks have been "excellent" in the past - would rate them "very good" now. Great restaurant in the western suburbs of... More

After a couple of visits to this restaurants I concluded it was OK, just not anything very special. I went with one of my best friends who really likes it here. He told us, correctly, that it is part of the Back Bay Restaurant Group, operator of several restaurant brands mostly in the greater Boston area. He also told us,... More

Dined here on a business lunch on a weekday at 5:15. We were seated in a booth which was actually kind of tight for the number of people in our party, but the table was in a quiet enough area to have conversation. Our meal took 3 hours, which was entirely too long. We started off with salads - I... More

I usually only put local reviews on tripadvisor only if I feel they are noteworthy, usually in a very positive manner. When traveling, I try to review everything. Our experience here was so disappointing, I feel I needed to comment. We had been here in the past and it was good. Went in January. It was the first time I... More

....the service, the chopped salad, the prime rib, the onion straws, the grilled asparagus, and the cheesecake. It was all absolutely fabulous, very moderately prices, and served in a perfect atmosphere such that two people can carry on a quiet, relaxing conversation.

Your review of the menu willl tell you that you have 10-15 choices of steaks, prime rib and a si,ilar number of seafood aternatives. There are ample choices of appetizers, salads and desserts. A business colleague and I were seated at 6:15 PM on a Thursday evening without a wait although the Coach Grill was quite busy. Service was gracious... More

If you stick to the simpler things on the menu (oysters, shrimp, steaks, chops, Prime rib, grilled swordfish, etc.), you should have an excellent meal. Fancier dishes aren't always so successful, but worth a try. Good service. Generally huge protions.

I finally got a chance to visit the much-discussed Coach Grill last night, and it's reputation is well-deserved. The food was all excellent - beet salad special was incredible, oysters were extremely fresh, and the steaks had great flavor. The wine list is also top-notch -- lots of quality options at various price points. They had a fire going in... More

My husband surprized me on our anniversary and took me here!! The service was impeccable and the food amazing. They had a private booth set up for us and had the flowers my husband had sent already on the table - amazing night
