Great Specials!

My 12-year-old son and I amazingly got in with only a 3-minute wait at noon today. Usually the lines are REALLY long. I ordered a special at the very top left of the left inside flap of the menu: 2 baked eggs on chorizo, tomatoes, tomatillos, black beans ($12.95 I think). I opted out of the... read more

This is a real diner - housed in a metal "train car" sort of building. The food is uniformly tasty and plentiful. There's always a line outside on Saturday mornings. The wait staff is as efficient as one would expect. A classic.

Great place for an almost home cooked meal without having to do dishes. Huge selection, including vegetarian and carb free alternative. Aweseome blue corn pankakes and for tea lovers there is a loose leaf tea menu! Very cozy!

Be careful though, this is a very popular spot and well known for great food, great coffee, and an extraordinary menu. BREAKFAST and lunch all day. Great service. Great specials. Great coffee! We have eaten heart several times since returning to Cambridge. We have yet to be disappointed. And do not expect to be! Plan your visit carefully, unless you... More

If you try only one diner in your life, make it this one. Housed in a very quaint old-fashioned building, this Watertown staple provides great pancakes, and other American dishes. We go there for their many different kinds of pancakes, all of which are fantastic. The quality goes down the farther you move away from American breakfast dishes. Salads are... More

When we arrived at this restaurant the line of people was out the door, which indicated to me that people where willing to wait to eat here. This was my first visit to the restaurant. There where many breakfast dishes on the menu that I appealed to me, but I decided to be more health conscious and ordered an omelet.... More

We love eating at the diner. It's hard to choose among all of the selections, including breakfast at any time of the day and interesting variations of classic diner food. We are never disappointed.

They have their own bakery so anything on bread is good. Sandwiches are hearty. Burgers are good and their turkey burgers and veggie burgers are not the usual flavorless fare. The veg burger is full of flavors and has good texture and is not dry like sawdust. Pancakes and johnny cakes are awesome. They'll make eggs any which way. They... More

The shear breadth of the menu is reason enough to eat at the Town Diner, a Watertown staple for years. Get breakfast anytime you want. Salads, stick to your ribs classics, vegetarian specials or pies your mom wishes she could make. This is the place to go if you have a group of people all with their own tastes or... More

The Town Diner is an acceptable option for breakfast in Watertown.Nothing special.I had a ham, pepper and onion omelette. The kitchen forgot the ham.No problem,it happens. However the green pepper and onion were cut into large pieces, overwhelming the eggs..The home fries were red bliss and well cooked. The toast is your average diner toast.Coffee is also average.Others in our party had potato pancakes and...
