Relax, you've found an unpretentious, wholesome restaurant and bar ...

Go!!! - if you are looking to relax and enjoy a good (but perhaps not extra ordinary) meal at a very reasonable price ... this is a neighborhood eatery and bar in the classic sense. This sort of place is fast disappearing ... - for those reviews yt? Hat suhgest the food here is mediocre - they... read more

Awesome classic cocktails... My fave there is their Old Fashioned. They have a great steak and prime rib, love their bbq chicken and salmon meals... And chicken parm is really good. My last meal there was mezza mezza bc the waitress was super busy to the point she was missing minor details in the order but important ones before zooming... More

The 4 stars other reviewers have given this restaurant convinced me to try it. Bad choice; should have turned around and walked out based on the musty smell as we walked in. The décor is old and tacky. The food is bland and poor quality. Luckily I could see inside the kitchen and it appeared to be clean. Waitresses were... More

Tuck into a red checkered-cloth table or booth, order up a classic cocktail (Old Fashioned - Manhattan) to sip and relax before your eggplant parm and ziti appear. This neighborhood go-to spot for red sauce Italian food and comfort food such as prime rib or baked scrod throws you back in time to that old family restaurant you remembered as... More

The first time we tried Greg's we were looking for a different place to eat out at and have passed this restaurant on a number of times and finally tried it. We were pleasantly surprised how good the food is, the inside has that old italian family restaurant feel to it the staff is great always friendly and prompt with... More

I live near Greg's, but have not had the occasion to try it until recently. I don't think I'll be back. I generally like neighborhood places, but Greg's just seems to set the bar too low. It's a friendly old-fashioned restaurant, where you expect the waitress to call you "honey" and serve you well prepared simple food. The waitress part... More

Hole-in-the-wall, dive-in type of dig. Staff was friendly and efficient. Huge portions of rather generic Italian-ish food. Same sauce on 5 different dishes, bread has nothing on Vito's. Economic but bland.

I live about a quarter mile from Gregs/never thought to a review of our go-to local place. My girlfriend and I have a Saturday lunch date as often as we can. Most Saturdays we enjoy a bloody-mary to start our stay.If asked about Gregs by someone who hasn't been I try to emphasize the daily consistancy with what I usually order.The... More

This place was recommended by the local lady who owns the B&B where we were staying, telling us that it was good, plain home style food, served in a friendly atmosphere. She was spot on! The menu is varied enough to please anyone, the food is freshly prepared, very high quality , no fuss home style cooking . There is... More

Our waitress was great on the second half of a double shift & still cracking jokes making us laugh heartly, its the servers sometimes that make it a memorable time.. Had a few manhattan's, we skipped apps because we read portions are large. The seafood newburg was just as I remember from my childhood going to somewhat fancy places/dinners in... More
