As a Watertown local, Stellina has been a favorite for convenient white tablecloth dining for a long time. They call themselves an Italian restaurant but I would not pigeonhole them that way. The menu frequently changes and is always interesting. the food is consistently very good, with typically several seasonal items. I have always found the waitstaff attentive and professional.... Stated succinctly, on the evening of Saturday, 3/I5/14 our four person dining party was not only immensely disappointed, but aggravated by our experience at Stellina in Watertown and we will not return there. We selected Stellina based on many positive online reviews and secured a 6:30pm reservation for our party of four. Two of the party arrived slightly early and... More

Stellina has so many good choices the only way to take advantage is to go often. I decided on a recent visit to have 2 appetizers: antipasti misti and mushroom risotto. The variety of selections of antipasti were delicious. Breads are also varied with a nice bean spread.

We love Stellina's. Small, fairly intimate setting, independently owned restaurant. Love the warm tomato salad as a starter, although it could be a meal. Good for out of town friends, family or a date night. Reasonable prices, good wine list. Not too noisy. Jazz on one night a week, but can't remember which.

One of my favorite things is to get dinner at the bar on Tuesday nights when there is a live Jazz trio playing.

Hostess was warm and welcoming; lovely staff. Homemade winter vegetable soup amazing. Salad and pasta with mushrooms fresh and delicious. Delicious cappuccino. The waitstaff and hostess deserve special mention. The warmth of their greeting enhanced the already delicious food. Cozy environment.

My wife and I both love this place. They have jazz on the patio and great food inside. We've been three times. On our last visit we both had the fish dish. Beautifully prepared and presented, tasting fresh and delicious. I don't remember the rest of the food -- though we had appetizers and deserts which we really savored and... More

Found Stellina's to be a generally OK, though unremarkable, restaurant. It calls itself Italian but does not quite pull it off. The waitstaff was certainly attentive and friendly, and the dishes were served at the right temperature and fairly efficiently. The main issues is that the menu is missing several Italian favorites (for example, there are only 3 pasta dishes... More

All the dishes were delicious. The warm tomato salad was amazing. Definitely have it. It is large enough to share. The homemade pasta was wonderful. The bread and spread were wonderful as well. For four with wine and appetizers the bill was $200. Pricey but worth it for a lovely night out with friends.

Years ago, Stellina was one of our regular spots for summer dining. As my family's demographics changed we went there less and less, so last night's visit was a "home coming." The motivation, in addition to fond memories of first class Italian favorites, was "Opera night." Each course was preceded by a few classic arias (mostly Italian) or a Napoletano... More
