My husband and I decided to try Porcini's before the theatre. It's a small, quaint restaurant, on a side street, not far from the theatre. We shared a Caesar Salad, which was delicious! I had the special, which was an herb-encrusted sole, with rice, although I opted for angel hair pasta, and asparagus. The sole was excellent, just the way... More

Nice place! It was easy to reserve it, but it was Tuesday evening. Food is good. I loved wild mushroom strudel for appetizer. I ordered porcini ravioli for the second course and they were a bit too heavy to my taste because of overpowering cream sauce. I liked their veal saltimbocca but it was not something striking. What I really... More

It turned out to be an expensive dinner for our daughters 28th birthday. We have been a group of five people. The restaurant had been very busy, due to graduation week in Boston. It resulted in a too long waiting time for the food to be prepared. I enjoyed watching the cooks working in the open kitchen. We appreciated, that... More

I recently went to Porcini's to celebrate my belated birthday with my Aunt and sister. We had a difficukt time finding a restaurant that was not to loud as my aunt is very HOH.I hadn't been to Porcini's in over 6 months. It was the perfect atmosphere ! ..Plus,I truly had the most amazing meal....the scallops. The others had chicken and... More

I have recently dined twice at Porcini's and have twice ordered catering from them. Everything about this place is wonderful! For the quality of food and great service, I believe it is reasonably priced. I will continue to use Porcini's for my catering needs as I work in corporate events.

Porcini's is such a lovely place to eat...good food, great wine list, but most importantly a friendly atmosphere that makes it a perfect place to end a stressful work week. Bridget's welcoming smile, Gary deftly handling the bar, and Rodney par excellence in the kitchen -- what more could you want? We shared the special of the day, a lobster... More

Just returned from dinner at Porcini's in Watertown (belated birthday celebration for a friend). This was our second visit within the past year or so, and just as pleasant, if not even more so. We had a reservation for two, arrived a bit early, and were seated immediately. Amy, our server, was knowledgeable, accommodating and attentive, with a great upbeat... More

My boyfriend and I had our first experience here as part of one of their wine tasting dinners. They started with a variety of absolutely delicious passed appetizers all of which I enjoyed with a nice champagne. The dinner also involved a taste of another 4 or so wines that were specifically paired with the different dishes being served. All... More

Ate here last night with friends (who, incidentally, love the place). The room was large, rather cold (at least where we were sitting), and relatively barren of decor. There was a bit of a delay taking our initial orders, but after that our service was timely and attentive. My wife and I both ordered pasta dishes. To Porcini's credit, the... More

Business dinner with group of coworkers. Service was very good! I wish I knew her name!! We ordered hors d'ouerves which included the Mushroom streudel and the eggplant rollatini. My entree was the Greand Marnier Chicken and it was as good as the waitress described! I'd go back!
