Decent spot, nothing special

I live pretty close to here and have been several times. Despite really wanting this place to wow me, it just doesn't. I find the food to be average, the service decent and the prices a bit steep for what they are serving. There are other places with similar cuisine that I prefer.

What a gem to have stumbled upon. Even though we are more than an hours drive it will be a place we visit frequently. The music is at a perfect listening level and delightful, the decor is wonderful. The food was more delicious than we could have imagined. We shared the (Beef Short Ribs) Buenos Tiempos, (Cod) Bacalao a la... More

Our group of 10 adults celebrated a friend's birthday at Casa de Pedro on Saturday, March 7th. Besides being a bit difficult to find (it's located in the back of the building), once you're there, you will enjoy yourself. There is a live band on Saturdays (that can be a bit loud depending on where your table is). Our waitress... More

Located right next door to the New Repertory Theater in Watertown, MA, this would be an excellent choice for a pre-show dinner. However, not so special that a trip for a meal alone would be warranted. Large, loud, lively and friendly atmosphere but the food fits into a Latin American comfort category rather than anything unusual or refined. The dinner... More

It's fun when they have a live band. Feels like 50's Havana in this Venezuelan restaurant. The food is excellent, as are the drinks, but the drinks are overpriced.

Lucky to be a "local" to have such a wonderful restaurant in the area. Not only is the food delicious, the atmosphere fun, the owner is one of the nicest and most caring of restauranteurs. He takes such pride in his restaurant and it shows. They have a wonderful outdoor patio filled with beautiful flowers that pedro plants himself. When... More

I am expert in latin cuisine since I grew up in Colombia, but I have to congratulate Pedro for his excellent restaurant: not only for the exquisite flavor of the dishes, but also for the nice, warm atmosphere he has built, full of details wherever you focus your eyes. Don't go without trying the empanadas! They are delicious!

I met a friend here for dinner on a weekday night and immediately walked into a South American safari of sorts. The decor is very vibrant, tropical and inviting, despite the cold weather outside. I had the special which was a whole sea bass with shrimp, littlenecks and scallops with sides of rice, plantain and yuca. I could not finish... More

I travel to Watertown Mass about twice a year and found Pedro's house on a recnt visit. I had the pork osso buco and my colleague had the tamales. Both were really good. The space is very nicely decorated and large with high ceilings. Drinks and food were both really good. Ask for some of their hot sauce on the... More
