I will start out by saying we were a group of ten & were going to community theatre next door at 8:00. We told our waitress of our time constraint & therefore I could not order paella which takes 1/2 hour to cook. I ordered a chicken dish that although tasty was overdone. The chicken was dry. The rice &... More

A nicely decorated, casual dining venue located in the Arsenal complex. The food is far from ordinary with a South American influence, delicious and moderately priced. A great place to dine after a play at the Arsenal Arts Center or if you are in the area.

We would have never visited La Casa de Pedro if we hadn't had a discount coupon. And now we are very happy we did. The food was wonderful. I had the trout and my wife had the cod. We split a fascinating salad that I think was called de Rubus. It featured all sorts of neat ingredients including sunflower seeds,... More

I love this place, the waitstaff is accommodating and kind, the food never disappoints and the sangria some of the best I have tasted. We were there on the early side, 5:15ish as we needed to make a movie at the Belmont Intl Film Fest. I ordered the paella, which ended up being enough for 3 meals afterwards. Pedro was... More

we went here for lunch, had the mango ceviche, which was awesome, the baby mushrooms, calamari and flan. The food was good, whatI'd expect from a Latin place. This is no Jose Andres. We didn't get any bread with our food until we asked for it. For that, I wish they were more attentive. When we pointed it out, he... More

I love this place. The food is excellent - how do they make beans and rice taste so good? Last time I have the chicken with apricot. Yummm. The salads are great with very good combo of ingredients and delicious dressing. It is also attractively decorated. I have gone for lunch and dinner - both are excellent.

The interior decor, while fun, might lead you to think that this place is all flash and no substance. This is not the case. The menu is varied, the service stellar, and the food excellent. Prices were great also. We started with a tapas, Tortilla Española, which was very good and then shared the La Verde salad, which was very... More

I've been here twice now with the same group of friends and both times the drinks, food and service were excellent. The traditional margarita is very good. We shared lots of tapas and everything was very tasty. Great live music and lots of fun.

Wanted to enjoy Venezuelan arepas, carne machade and Quesillo with original preparation and quality. Pedro's was excellent. Nice greeting at the door after the busy lunch crowd when you'd expect the staff to be less than attentive. Frank the server was polite, easy going and introduced me to Chef Pedro, who was outgoing and magnanimous in chatting up the concept... More

The plantains were perfectly cooked, and the black beans were full of flavor. If you don't get those two right, then you can't call it a good Latin restaurant; Casa de Pedro's nailed it.
