I had not been there for 5-6 years but it's still very good. Try the Hokkaiyaki (baked scallops in spicy mayo) as appetizer and the Volcani Maki. Their fried ice cream is great too. Nice service. Don't forget to make reservation.

I've been back to New Ginza multiple times. Their sushi is amazing and they have a lot of other great options. If you're a fan of Japanese food/sushi this is the place to go. I got this box thing (can't remember what it's called) that was a little pricey but definitely worth the price!

The food is ok, not fantastic but good sushi. The service very nice and friendly, quick. The restaurant per se is nothing special, very simple and modest wood construction. But if you do not want to go to boston i would recommend it.

Absolutely the best sashimi I have had in years. Very generous, very fresh, good atmosphere. A good deal, too.

Best sushi in the area. I've been a regular customer for about 10+ years, which demonstrates that it's worth revisiting again and again. Sushi, cooked meals, you name it...all great. Highly recommend.

The absolutely BEST hot appetizer is the HOKKAIYAKI (Scallop or Squid), we get it with scallops. It is so good and we never come here without ordering it. The sushi is fresh and well prepared and the Udon noodle soups are excellent. The only complaint is parking can be tough on the street if you don't go early. It was... More

New Ginza has become the go-to place to take my girlfriend on a romantic, yet affordable date night. The sushi always tastes fresh, and their presentation cannot be beat. The style of the restaurant itself is quaint, yet modern, creating an authentic atmosphere that causes you to forget you're dining in downtown Watertown. The staff is attentive and friendly, and... We treated ourselves to the sushi Boat and had shumai and yakitori for appetizers. While the sushi was good, the appetizers were not. It's not easy to find parking near the restaurant. Better luck after 8:30 at night.

Rumor is that the main chef is leaving. That would be such a crying shame for New Ginza because he is what makes this place really sing! The weekend bento box is a joy to eat. A huge box, including soup and ice cream, is a steal at $20. On weeknights, I love to eat the duck special dish. Strongly... More
