My husband and I can't get enough of this restaurant. Introduced it to friends last night and they're hooked too. Ella's is 35 miles from our home but absolutely worth the drive. The atmosphere is friendly, rustic and comfortable. The food is creative, delicious and consistent with an extensive wine list. This place is a must!

We went to Ella's on a Monday and at 5pm to avoid the crowds. We started with the squash blossoms, crispy, stuffed with cheese, unbelievable! For dinner I had an eggplant pizza and my husband had the veal. The pizza was one of the best I've had in this area, crispy crust and fresh mozzarella. My husband loved the veal,... More

Have now been twice. Both times for a late lunch at the bar. Had the same wonderful bartender each time. She is extremely professional and knows the menu. She was hostessing at the same time and didn't miss a beat. We had octopus, mussels, squash blossoms and a pizza, plus drinks. We were there for awhile and ran up a... More

We have been dining at Ella's since they opened and have NEVER been disappointed. The menu is creative and delicious, the specials are always amazing. If you are looking for stuffiies, nachos and chicken tenders, KEEP driving. Ella's rivals any big city restaurant but without the attitude. The appetizer of squash blossoms is amazing, the stripped bass special is the... More

We had a great fig and prosciutto pizza with a great salad. Others in our group had roasted chicken...all the food was terrific. The wait staff were very efficient and attentive. I give Ella's only 4 stars because the place is so noisy you can't hear your self think. The acoustics are terrible...too many hard surfaces for the clatter and... More

Really incredible food! The flavor and ingredient combinations are delightful. Great service even on a busy Saturday night. Highly recommend.

My husband, myself, and another couple were at Ella's on Saturday and were extremely disappointed. The service was definitely lacking. For example, our waitperson took at least 15 minutes to ask for our cocktail order, and it took an additional 20 minutes for it to arrive. I could almost accept this if they were very busy, but only three other... More

We went for lunch and were very happy with our choice to go here.I had the popular chowder.it is freshly made for each portion. The base is made from potatoes and there were about 4 open little necks with diced sweet potatoes in it and it was so tasty. The best I've ever had.My husband had a side salad with local butter... Met friends at this establishment. Small restaurant with a upper scale dinning experience. Very good quality, and portions were plentiful. Wait staff could,t have been more helpful. Very attentive, but not overly. Open kitchen and oven environment. Very creative menu. a must try for everyone. Not a child venue, but definitely a romantic one. Pizza also available with unique toppings... More

I would recommend this restaurant for a quiet evening or special occasion. Good atmosphere are both casual and sophisticated.
