The Gem of Buzzards Bay!

Our spontaneous first-time adventure to a new place for dinner. We had Heard it was good and decided to try it. We were surprised how busy they were for a Monday night. We Can't say enough about how tantalizing and intriguing these dishes were. Ordered sweet potato chowder which we thought sounded... read more

My neighbor gave my husband and I a $100. Gift certificate for Ella's. We had never been there so we figured we would give it a try. It has the ambiance of papa Gino's and the price of an upscale waterfront restaraunt. The food wasn't very good, the cheap pizza place table rocked because it was lopsided. I would never... More

We've been going here for years and it never disappoints, the menu has excellent seasonal selections that are always fresh and well made. The wine selection is also very good. I would not hesitate to bring friends or family any day of the week!

Never expected to find a place like this in Wareham. As good as anyplace in Boston or Cape Cod. We had the lamb shank with fluffy pillows they called gnocchi but which reminded me more of my mother's matzoh balls and the crispy salmon with ramps, pea tendrils and too many other yummy things to name. The wine list, homemade... More

I had the steak special (rib eye) with fries and asparagus. I'm actually sitting here eating the left overs as I write this. Food is great quality, and arrived quicker than expected. And portions large enough for another 2 meals for me. Dessert was sticky toffee pudding cake, I wanted to swim in it. Great wine list as well. There... More

We don't spend any time in this area of MA but had a birthday party to go to in the afternoon and it was our anniversary so we decided to go to dinner at the highest rated restaurant we could find in the area. We were not disappointed. We were a little early for our 7:00 reservation but in spite... More

We finally made it over to Ella's after all the buzz I've been hearing for quite some time. Made a reservation for Mother's Day with their special brunch menu and all I have to say is OMG! The best brunch ever, I had the eggs benedict and the hollandaise sauce was perfect. My mom and sis had an omelet with... More

Although we always have a great meal at Ella's, the new menu proves the Chef just keeps getting better at his craft. The asparagus appetizer with the poached egg yolk was gorgeous to look and delicious to eat and I'm still trying to figure out how it's made. The fish is fresh and flavorful, the desserts are made on site... More

Situated amidst the tourist-tackiness that defines the Cranberry highway, Ella's truly is a diamond in the rough. The food, service, and ambiance go well beyond what one would call a typical pizza joint: tasteful decor in a nicely-lit dining area, with friendly and efficient servers rolling out terrific wood-grilled pizzas and items you don't find on most pizza menus. The... More
