Finally made it to this place after driving by so many times. The line out the door at lunchtime was the first clue! A small bakery/prepared foods place with a bit of seating. The bread is outstanding and they have a huge sandwich board. The panini are oven baked (not pressed) and delicious. They make a pickled eggplant relish/condiment that... More

Every time I go to Domenics, it is jam packed! And for good reason - everything is delicious! My favorites are the chicken parm, the classic italian and the caprese - and of course I love all of the Italian bakery treats - especially the cannoli which they will fill to order even at their most busy. They are no... More

We stopped for breakfast as we were mislead by the name. It is an Italian deli that serves lunch. Later we were told that the official name is Domenic's Panini (and not bakery). Domenic's had some cookies selection (my daughter thought that they were too sweet and weak on flavor) . I had a cannelo that was OK. The espresso... More

So, let me echo all the previous reviews that this place is fabulous for serving homemade, fresh, and authentic italian fare. They have numerous house specials that are all very good. The prices are fairish, although it always amazes me that two sandwiches will routinely go over $20. The one other thing is that there is nearly no space inside,... More

The Italian grand-ladies still work in the back putting out great food. Out of this world eggplant, second only to my wife's Italian aunt's (high praise I assure you!)

My husband believes that the owner of a true - authentic - Italian sandwich shop/restaurant/bakery would never serve food they wouldn't eat themselves and this sums up the "Domenic's" Italian Sandwich Shop experience. Personal favorite: House salad with Tonno (tuna) and a piece of homemade Ciabatta bread Kid's Favorite: Chicken Parm on Ciabatta

On our final day and Waltham we decided on Domenic's based on the many good reviews. We were not disappointed. The ciabata rolls were obviously made in house-delicious, chewy perfection. The menu was tasteful, and the atmosphere was warm and friendly. I wish there was a place like this near me.It has a real neighborhood feel to it, and our... More
