great for family celebration

The service was attentive and the food was good but not great. The pappardelle Bolognese was very meaty with little to no tomato. Very heavy overall. Thee apps were good but not great. The bread was acceptable but not amazing. The beer selection was weak. With many other better options available in the area, I would not go back.

Biagio staff & atmosphere is top notch! The appetizers & Entrees are Delizioso! The Staff is very knowledgeable and are very helpful in pointing out there specialty items! Parking is a plus behind the restaurant!

I went in with children for an early dinner. We were the only people in the place, maybe another couple. Staff was not very friendly & it was like pulling teeth to get someone to take our order. The food was not that good

On a recent visit to the Newton area we decided on dinner at 'Biagio'. The restaurant itself is very lovely, staff is attentive and came over immediately to ask for drink orders. I was dining with my sister and we decided to split an order of calamari which was exceptional. We should have stopped there. We shared a spring green... More

Don't select their House chardonnay, as it is nearly tasteless. If you have never been to Biagio, you mind wonder what the occasional rumbling is. A commuter rail is just a few feet from the restaurant's exterior wall and you can feel some vibration when th train passes. Four of us ate there and three were pleased with the initial... More

Three of us ate here New Years Eve. The Portuguese Stew was a big hit. Two people had it. Excellent service. We were seated upstairs and there was a TV on the wall at our table. This is a nice restaurant for a special occasion. I had them turn the TV off which I felt had no place in the... More

A restaurant like this should be found in the Boston’s North End. Outstanding menu, terrific service and an ambiance that can't be beat all in the heart of Waltham. If you love Italian food then this is the place to eat. First the ambiance is fantastic, spacious tables, very comfortable seating, white table clothes, and a magnificent room with beautiful... I was eager to try the raviolis at this restaurant. Reservations were easy online through OpenTable , plenty of parking and easy to find. We were seated right away it was a Sunday night and it was a very busy. The food is good, raviolis were great, however the risotto not so great. It really lacked flavor and ingredients. The... More
