This place really does have great food and an amazing selection. If it's Italian, you can get it here. The bread really good and comes from a local Baker. Good fish selection. Great pasta selection. Good dessert selection. The restaurant is broken up into "rooms". The restaurant itself is huge and typically caters to an older crowd. It would be... More

This was a great place to have dinner and just across the street from the Waltham Elks lodge. If there is a long wait for the dining room, you can request a table in the bar which is large, friendly and had a few TV's. We were able to watch a Red Sox game on a Sat. We were in... More

If you are looking for a consistently good meal, go to the Chateau, the service is quick and friendly, but not rushed. It is great to go to with little children or a large group, or even if you just don't feel like cooking that night! They are also very generous to the community, I feel very good supporting them!!

Food is fresh, bread is delicious. The menu is huge so you will find something that you are in the mood to eat. Their fish and chicken dishes are very good. We go here often when we don't feel like cooking. I strongly recommend it.

First time here and it had a very large menu. Not just Italian food. We both ordered 2 different lucnh meals and the prices were very fair. Our server was awesome and was very good. Had the chicken parm and it was very big. Enough for 2 people if you wanted to do that. Also had a combo plate with... More

First off, I'm shocked this place had 3 dollar signs. I actually walked away thinking it was very cheap! Alcoholic cocktails were no more than $8! My meal was huge, leaving me leftovers and it was only $14. Dessert was $3.50 for the best cannoli I've ever had. The service was great. Our waitress was super friendly. Of course you... More

Visited the Andover restaurant 05/03/2014 for dinner. My wife and I ordered a different trio apiece. No more than four minutes later the food was at the table. Chicken Parm mushy, Fried Ravioli mushy, Lasagna watery as if they had all the food pre-prepared then nuked to serve. We were very displeased. We felt rushed, food not cooked fresh to... More

I have eaten many times at the Chateau and a favorite is the Toasted Raviolis. They are know for them and I have had chicken cutlet, lasagna, lobster roll, chopped chicken salad, pizza, and many others and have never been disappointed. Last week though I had sirloin tips with rice and they were delicious. I am a medium rare person... More

I have been coming to this restaurant since I was ten and I hate to say, that has been for over forty years. Over the years my tastes have changed but whenever I am in Waltham that's the first place I choose to eat. The service and atmosphere are great. Chateau still is number one in my book!!
