I asked for suggestions for dinner, and decided on the seafood platter (recommended by our server). I was extremely disappointed in the size of the plate. Wasn't much larger than an appetizer plate - for $22.00, and the scallops on the plate were definitely not fresh and there were only three. Totally disappointing. The server definitely botched that one. Two... More

Planned a party for 25 people from the other side of the US. They did a great job. Food was very good, service outstanding. They were very accommodating to a couple of people with special needs. Their timing was impeccable. I would recommend this for a party to anyone. Exceeded expectations.

Never had a bad meal here... food is consistently good and priced right. House Italian salad dressing is fantastic, as is the fresh bread. I dine here regularly.

Here with a group of about 30 set up in advance. They handled us fairly well, tho we could have used more than two servers. Food was enjoyed by most; I had chicken Marsala which was very good. If in town again I'd probably try again.

I have been going to the Chateau since I was a kid. That was may years ago. The restaurant has expanded and the options have grown. This family run establishment has good food at very reasonable prices. The owners have been quite supportive of Waltham athletes and varied events. The staff is efficient and quite fast and serving the patrons.... More

Good heathy portions and the meatballs, sauce, sausage, ravioli, etc. were all very good. Most people from the area told us to set here and they were right. Bread was very good, wine was very good, and it's in a casual setting. Well worth it.

As they say, when in Waltham, do as everyone else does, eat at the Chateau. Okay, maybe they do not say that, but it certainly feels like everyone has eaten there at least once. You will not be disappointed if you do eat here. If you like Italian food this is the place for you. A perennial favorite is the... More

Wonderful Italian dishes with a family atmosphere. Be sure to try one of the house specialties like the baked ravioli. It comes with meat sauce and meat ball. My 8 y/o really enjoys the Cup-of-Mud from the kids menu (chocolate pudding with gummy worms). They've updated several rooms over the last few years so the rooms are much brighter.

This place really does have great food and an amazing selection. If it's Italian, you can get it here. The bread really good and comes from a local Baker. Good fish selection. Great pasta selection. Good dessert selection. The restaurant is broken up into "rooms". The restaurant itself is huge and typically caters to an older crowd. It would be... More

This was a great place to have dinner and just across the street from the Waltham Elks lodge. If there is a long wait for the dining room, you can request a table in the bar which is large, friendly and had a few TV's. We were able to watch a Red Sox game on a Sat. We were in... More
