Hands down, the best ceviche and flan! They make a dish with blended black beans and white rice, very delicious, order it with the carne asada!!!

Great, authentic Salvadoran food and I love those fried plantains. In fact, we went twice over our 3 day weekend in town.

So El Salvadorian food is very different than Mexican food. Many of the dishes have the same name but they are not the same in any way. The flavoring is much much more interesting. I have eaten there a bunch of time for dinner, lunch, and breakfast. They have palm which is great. Never had it anywhere else like the... More

Went here with friends for the first time. Very casual atmosphere, good service, good food. Pretty good variety for both meat and fish eaters. Reasonable prices. Try the plantain appetizer.

This restaurant has some of the latin food I have ever tasted. This was the first Guatemalen restaurant I had ever eaten at. I was unsure if I would like it but wanted to try something authentic. When you walk in the smells are incredible. Everyone was speaking spanish and Telemundo was playing soccor on the televisions. The food was... More

This is a Latin American site with an emphasis on Guatemalan food. Breakfast is served all day. My wife and I had an appetizer of Pupusa (stuffed corn tortilla with cheese and pork). Our entrées were Churrasco (steak with rice, avocado, fried beans, scallions and salsa) perfectly done and delicious. My wife had Grilled Shrimp. Too full for dessert.

In 2011, I spent a couple of months in Waltham and this soon became my favorite restaurant there. the food is great - tasty and carefully prepared. It really tastes homemade. Love the plantains, the veggie "enchiladas" (what most mexican places would call a taco, with avocado, queso fresco, onions, lime - a perfect mix of salty, tart, crunchy and... More

If it wasn't for the prices in dollars, one would think you were in Guatemala or San Salvadore. Mi Tierra (My Homeland) has been owned and operated by a Guatamalan family since 1997. It's long tenure attests to it's overall quality. This is NOT Mexican food, it is authentic Central American which is quite different, though it has some Mexican... More

This small treasure is one of my favorite restaurants in Massachusetts.Warning this is not a place to go on a first date, they might think you are cheap and tacky based on the simple decor. but the food is delicious, even if you have never had Latin food this is the place to try it Everything is home made, from the drinks... We were looking for somewhere to eat with our 2 year old and our parents and other family members on a Sunday morning in Waltham. We came across this gem. I dream of a breakfast that includes perfectly seasoned black beans, eggs with tomato and onion, platanos, and handmade tortillas. I was told the house special chorizo was also excellent.... More
