In the Waltham area and looking for a place for dinner. Drove by this lovely little place and decided to take a chance. What a treat. Very nicely decorated with candles , flowers and linen tablecloths. The service was efficient and helpful. The food was excellent. We enjoyed the beet salad, the lobster pasta dish , dessert and wine. The... More

For our anniversary, my wife and I went to La Campania in Waltham, MA, and we were delighted with the entire evening! In addition to a glass of red wine from an extensive wine list, we started with antipasti. I had the Chiopino (shellfish in a delicious red broth with a slice of bruschetta to soak up the broth), which... More

We eat here several times per year. It is one of the best restaurants in the Boston area. Make reservations early, becasue it seemingly sells out virtually every night of the week. Be sure to ask the wait staff for food guidance. They never steer you wrrong.

Great service most of all, if it is just a couple or small group of friends try and sit at the bar. The bartender, Mark, on Thursday nights is so personable and fun to chat with. The wine selection is amazing and the food is great.

My 20-something daughter and I went in hoping to experience truffles. Sadly they weren't on the menu that evening. My daughter explained to our waitress truffles are on my bucket list. She kindly excused herself, spoke to the chef and returned saying the chef had one truffle left and he recommended it be shaved and served in a sauce over... More

This restaurant has interesting ways of cooking and presenting food. On the other hand, a main course of fish should have more than 1 - 1.5 ounces. The fish was described as coming with pear. There were two slices, each about the same size as a fingernail and half the thickness. The prices are on the steep side. I can... More

Went with a large group og colleagues while travelling and we greeted and taken to our table. The menu looked very good so hard to make a choice and they also had an offer for larger groups with samplings of antipasti and pastas and then a main course, but it sounded like a lot of food, so we went with... Very pleasant ambiance and great service. I ordered Prosciutto di Parma, Campanelle and Seared Duck, nicely paired with Damilano, Barbera d'Asti red wine. Food was well prepared, beautifully presented, generous portions, bright flavors, perfect temperature and combination of condiments. Will be back for sure.

I was traveling and wanted authentic Italian food. I found it! I will definitely come back. The hostess knew I was traveling alone and seated me at the bar next to a lovely local couple. The bartender Leo offered great suggestions and made me feel welcome. Highly recommend this place for food and atmosphere.
