The food was good, prices were reasonable, and the atmosphere was comfortable, it is conveniently located to several hotels and is right near I-95. You can also call ahead and take out. They will accommodate special requests. It is a good tire restaurant though not extraordinary. It is certainly worth eating here if you're in the neighborhood. I would not... More

Great Thai food in a small well lite restaurant. Lots of variety and reasonably priced. Lots of sitting too. There service is fast and if you order take out it is even faster.

I met old friends at Green Papaya last Saturday afternoon. I was surprised by how tasteless the food was. I ordered Beef Basil which was somewhat spicy but certainly not 3 peppers. One friend ordered Pork Ginger which was truly uninspired. Other dishes ordered were Masaman Curry chicken which was also lacking in flavor and Chicken Cashew. My friend told... More

The Green Papaya has become one of my local favorites. When in Waltham, lunch at the Green Papaya is a must. Service is always fast and friendly. Every dish I have tried has been great. My associates love the Pad Thai while the Indonesian Fried Rice with shrimp, black mushrooms and red curry sauce flavor; topped with sliced barbequed chicken... More

We stopped here for lunch upon the recommendation of a friend. I had the chicken coconut soup and a chicken masaman curry. The broth was excellent and the curry sauce was fine, although I would have preferred . However, the chicken was a bit overcooked and somewhat tough. My wife had the hot and sour shrimp soup--lots of mushrooms and... More

the atmosphere and service is nice. A bit of a strange location- right next to a major road and yet off the beaten track. What was the DPW thinking?? food itself was kind of sub par. I'm a foodie and thai is my favorite so I could be a harsh critic. Had the massaman chicken- chicken was like leather. coconut... More

Ate here 3 times over 2 weeks as I was staying across the street on business. Despite the rather bland exterior, the food here utterly surprised me. I've travelled in Thailand and eaten there extensively and I can thoroughly recommend the food at Green papaya. The portions were generous, the food exquisitely cooked and the flavours were spot on. Staff... More

The ambiance is average, GP is built into a little strip mall off the highway. The food is also just decent and a bit too pricey for what it is ... but if you are looking for something different outside of your hotel in Waltham it is a decent option.

Well I must say Thai cuisine is one of my favorites and I've been to most in the Boston area. I was surprised with menu, as I had not seen a few dishes they make. I tried many dishes as you all know I am a chef, and I'm picky. I threw everything at the waiter, changing up the standard... More

The food here is pretty good. Good flavor, good taste, great heat if you want a disk with a lot of bang (which they definitely offer). The only issue I have with this place is that the kitchen odor really seems to get into the dining area and is frankly, less than pleasant. It is quite affordable (if not inexpensive... More
