Pretty good thai food

I had the tofu soup which was bland but as soon as I put soy sauce and hot sauce, it tasted much better. I had the tofu Royal for lunch and it was delicious. My only complaint is that the soup was small for $4, where typically lunch at other places would include a soup or spring roll.

Delicious Thai food, friendly staff and very very reasonable. Been in Waltham almost two weeks and eaten here 3 times after my wife, who isn't usually a fan of Thai food, kept wanting to go back due to the wide variety on the menu. Everything we ordered has been tasty and if we were staying longer we'd be going back... More

First - they had no heat when we arrived - and we kept our jackets on. Second, my wife is Thai and taught me when it is food for falangs or for Thais, This food is 100% like Thai Chinese food. Avoid it.

I really loved the duck and fruit preparation. I was here first during an team meeting - had dinner. I liked the food and the milieu so much I visited to have brunch with family. They serve food throughout the day - that's a big plus (meaning no closure between lunch and dinner). The dinner is slightly expensive, but the... More

This is a typical Thai restaurant that serves a decent meal. And that's OK. The prices and ambiance don't send out more of an expectation. When I'm looking for a quick Thai meal, then average is really OK.

I agree with all the positive reviews for Green Papaya. I only come for dinner so can't comment on the lunch experience, and have only had take-out a couple of times (which is good but eating in is best). I have not tried all the dishes on their menu (no beef or pork) but their curries, fish dishes, pad thai,... More

I met colleagues here for lunch before a work event in Waltham. A few of them had dined here in the past and recommended it. The menu had a large variety of dishes priced under $9 which I thought was inexpensive for the area. The service was a little too fast - - we ordered Pad Thai as an appetizer... More

The food was good, prices were reasonable, and the atmosphere was comfortable, it is conveniently located to several hotels and is right near I-95. You can also call ahead and take out. They will accommodate special requests. It is a good tire restaurant though not extraordinary. It is certainly worth eating here if you're in the neighborhood. I would not... More

Great Thai food in a small well lite restaurant. Lots of variety and reasonably priced. Lots of sitting too. There service is fast and if you order take out it is even faster.

I met old friends at Green Papaya last Saturday afternoon. I was surprised by how tasteless the food was. I ordered Beef Basil which was somewhat spicy but certainly not 3 peppers. One friend ordered Pork Ginger which was truly uninspired. Other dishes ordered were Masaman Curry chicken which was also lacking in flavor and Chicken Cashew. My friend told... More
