the atmosphere and service is nice. A bit of a strange location- right next to a major road and yet off the beaten track. What was the DPW thinking?? food itself was kind of sub par. I'm a foodie and thai is my favorite so I could be a harsh critic. Had the massaman chicken- chicken was like leather. coconut... More

Ate here 3 times over 2 weeks as I was staying across the street on business. Despite the rather bland exterior, the food here utterly surprised me. I've travelled in Thailand and eaten there extensively and I can thoroughly recommend the food at Green papaya. The portions were generous, the food exquisitely cooked and the flavours were spot on. The ambiance is average, GP is built into a little strip mall off the highway. The food is also just decent and a bit too pricey for what it is ... but if you are looking for something different outside of your hotel in Waltham it is a decent option.

Well I must say Thai cuisine is one of my favorites and I've been to most in the Boston area. I was surprised with menu, as I had not seen a few dishes they make. I tried many dishes as you all know I am a chef, and I'm picky. I threw everything at the waiter, changing up the standard... More

The food here is pretty good. Good flavor, good taste, great heat if you want a disk with a lot of bang (which they definitely offer). The only issue I have with this place is that the kitchen odor really seems to get into the dining area and is frankly, less than pleasant. It is quite affordable (if not inexpensive... More

Nothing was bad but nothing stood out as exceptional. A good place for a bite to eat if you are not in a rush.

We have dined here for many years and are always pleased, both with the food and the service. Some of our favorites main dishes are "Pad Thai and Massaman Curry with brown rice. As far as appetizers go we love their "Satay Chicken, Soft Dumplings and Crispy Spring Rolls". On this particular evening two members of our party had physical... More

Dining here one recent evening with family members, I had an opportunity to try a variety of shared dishes. I particularly enjoyed -the tofu triangles, an appetizer delicately fried and served with a peanut-garnished dipping sauce, and -the vegetable curry, which had a delicately spicy sauce that included Indian eggplant (yummy and not all like the kind of eggplant we're... I came here with a group from work and ordered and assortment of appetizers and entrees. Overall the food was at least average with some dishes being above average but none excellent. Worth giving it a try since the food looked good and tasted fresh. Some of my colleagues had been here before and already had their favorites.
