Went to the Mexican restaurant after seeing it across from the future MERC site in Waltham square and reading other trip advisor reviews. 1. I can agree on one point....No parking available. Charles St is one way with parking on one side and residences in the area. look for other spaces. 2. Not enough staff for the outside and inside... More

No kitsch, no schmaltz, no roving bands of employees singing and clapping in your ear while you’re trying to eat — just good, honest food at a decent price. My first visit to Taqueria was with a couple of long-time friends, both of whom always make it a point to eat here when they’re in town. I’m not a big... More

Authentic, Mexican. This little tiny, hard to find restaurant is such a hidden gem. The salsa and chips are the best evah! Order anything off the menu and you'll be pleased, but the daily specials are worth the trip.

Awesome place tucked away in a hidden area of Waltham, although that is changing rapidly with the redevelopment of Waltham's Central Square. Come here for the best Mexican food in all of Greater Boston, soak in the festive atmosphere (complete with a mariachi band), and if you are like me and have a dog, enjoy the dog-friendly patio area with... I love this restaurant. The food is great and cheap. They do their best with the service when they are busy. Parking stinks though.

This is a great place for big groups to go, make noise, and enjoy some good Mexican food. The service is homey and the atmosphere is welcoming. Parking will be a problem so, prepare to walk a block or two from your spot. You will walk out of here satisfied without breaking the bank.

Parking: on-street; a hassle. Atmosphere: Crowded and noisy on a Saturday night. Interesting, convivial ambiance, with Mexican artifacts decorating the walls. Food: average, bland, nothing to brag about. (Although the homemade chips were excellent). Service: attentive and quick - in and out in less than an hour. Not recommended for a date, unless your hearing is excellent and you have... More

I eat here while on business in Waltham. I was great by a fresh salsa chips and sauce. The staff was very attentive and the menu has a wide choice of items. I tried a house special. It came out prompt and was pleasant to the eye. The flavors were excellent with just the right amount of heat to wake... More

What a great place!! I´ve driven past this place so many times so I decided to finally give it a shot. Its certainly a casual place, no fancy table cloths or anything. Its just a fun place to share a pitcher of sangria (there was a band playing while we were there), chat, eat chips and then chow down on... More

My wife and I always liked the place, for its food and atmosphere, but last night's experience has cause us to revise our opinion: the service was rude and totally uncaring - we didn't even have dinner. There were three couples waiting ahead of us. When tables became available, one couple was seated at a 4-person booth, two at two-person... More
