Great treats and sandwiches. Wonderful place to pickup a picnic lunch on the way out to the beach for the day.

Now snarky hipsters. Food not good but edible if you are famished. No aspect of service was good so perhaps it just left a bad taste?! Used to be a great quaint bakery and small take out offering tasty vegetarian options. It's now a shadow of itself. What remains is the name and the building. A shame.

So a group of six of us came here for lunch. The bus dropped us off and picked us up (Thankyou!) but the lunch choice was not a good one. Service was awful. There is one person who was doing everything except cooking and it was super slow counter service and not friendly. Now the food. One person got beef... More

Made a detour to get back to this bakery signed with a Scottish flag as well as sign saying Scottish Bakehouse. No Scottish owner for 40 years so nothing scottish except something which looked like shortbread!! Very disappointed.

our food was delicious, well prepared and necessary for us... gluten free... it was nice to be able to eat and be comfortable... sitting outdoors at the old picnic table was quaint and so nice on a warm fall afternoon

I am a long time Vineyard summer resident from a while ago back for a one week visit and was horrified by the level of service I experienced at the bakery today (August 31st) at 3pm. First off let me reiterate the baked goods appear to remain top notch and what we purchased was very tasty. The unfortunate element was... More

Purchased an assortments of desserts for a gathering. Got the GF treats and they were all delicious. There was no wait on a Sunday morning. The only delay was me trying to decide what to get ... too many good options!!

In previous years we had enjoyed the Scottish bake houses eclectic menu, but we were disappointed this year. We stopped to pick up some food on our way to menemsha to watch the sunset and the items on the menu sounded appealing so we ordered several things to go. The food took over a half hour to prepare and when... More

Come for the shortbread and stay for the baked goods, sandwiches, and salads! We love to get the orzo salad, although I always add a bit of lemon juice as it is surprisingly devoid of any acid. My daughter loves the farm fresh hard boiled egg. Lovely shortbread!
