Garden salad with chicken good but the lettuce seemed a little limp - not bad at all, but considering the price... Good ice coffee.

if you have young ones a stop here is mandatory so they can have lunch in the railraod car or picnic tables outside the bakery which is a place to get awesome sandwiches and salads at reasonable prices

Absolutely love the ice coffee....I had it every morning and miss it already! The Cesar salad wrap is one of the best that my daughter has ever had and she is somewhat of an expert on those! The pastries are to die for.....your mouth will water just looking at them. The staff there were always super nice and accommodating and... More

Food was fine. Nothing special. Really just a tourist marketing thing. They probably make more money on the merchandise with the black dog on it than the food. No alcohol served.

One of my vineyard favorites. The prices are really great compared to other places on the vineyard. And the food is consistently delicious! A great place for seafood eaters and non-seafood eaters alike. Tons of options!

this was the the bed breakfast of the week for taste and price. The wait was longer that in needed to be and hostess staff looked disorganized but the food was worth the wait

I was looking for a place to grab a cup of coffee and relax and found Black Dog Bakery Cafe. Coffee was excellent and fell in love with the bran muffin that I had to stop at another location in Oak Bluffs before departing on the Steamship. There is Wi-Fi service and a full bakery with tasty treats in addition... More

We always visit the bakery when we are on the island. Never been disappointed. However now that I am gluten free, I'm hoping they will offer something I can eat in the future!

Visited Black Dog Bakery June 26, 2014 hoping to pick up a late night treat. Bought a chocolate cupcake and 3 doggie treats. The cupcake was flavorless and the icing left an odd taste in my mouth. For $4 I was expecting something a bit more delicious. When I arrived home on Friday June 27 and presented my little girl... More

The apple fritters at Black Dog should come with a warning label, due to their size and likely calorie content. But, I associate them with being on the Vineyard, and I can't wait to get one whenever I'm there. Share one with a friend!
