We visited Little House for lunch and thought it was a great choice. At 12 noon - 1 PM in season, it is really full inside, and orders are a bit slow. But most patrons are aware of that. There is additional seating on the picnic tables out front, which can be very nice to sit at. We arrived at... More

We stopped here for lunch at one of my favorite sandwich and salad restaurants on the island. Of course they also serve breakfast and dinner but I've always found it to be a great location for sandwiches salads. You'll like it too, especially the pressed vegetable sandwich with fresh mozzarella, olive tapenade and the chicken Schwarma

On Martha's Vineyard it's hard to avoid pricey restaurants looking for tourists' business. Little House Cafe, run by a young local couple, is indeed "little" and it is not overpriced (by MV standards). It is also open year round, unlike many other places. Recently I had an excellent meal here with friends--two of us had steak skewers, one had fish... More

The Indonesian Gado Gado Salad was amazing, yet the tuna nicoise salad was a dud (FYI, Little House, that involves a seared tuna steak sliced over the salad, NOT chunks of tuna fish from a can dumped on it!). The falafel sandwich was also good, but they had no hummus or tahini to go with it, very strange. Very nice... More

This cafe has very good food (leaning towards middle eastern and mediterranean flavors, but have something for everyone. Loved the falafel sandwich, baked goods and salads are great. Very fresh ingredients. Nice spot for a low key meal when you get tired of all the fancy, high priced Vineyard restaurants.

We have eaten here several times, off season and on season. The experience has alsways been wonderful, and I suspect it is due to the pride intheir gem of a restaurant. AS we chatted with our waitress about a couple of the recipes and the history of the restaurant, she commented that she was proud to work there. I can... More

Best ginger cake I've ever had. Had coffee and cake one day, and breakfast the next. Great food and really nice people.

Great food - the fish tacos are a must try. They also have a great chicken sandwich and the salads are good too. I would highly recommend the restaurant. I have not been for dinner but lunch is very good.
