Great sandwiches

I had the farmhouse sandwich and it was sublime, one of if not the best sandwich I've ever had. The onion glaze was sweet and wonderful, which is saying something since I don't really like onions, and the pecan goat cheese was very nice as well. It was fresh and crisp, even though the season is... read more

Took my daughter to lunch here this week. I found it oversized and over priced. One meal would have fed two people. My John Alden sandwich was dry and could have used mayo or something. $30 for two for lunch seemed too high for what it was.

Used to be good. Unmanaged so service was terrible. Deck not kept clean. Food was marginal. Will return when the get new ownership and management or if no alternative.

The blueberry flapjacks are a must have. Light and fluffy simply delish! Quaint little sit down breakfast/lunch nook in the heart of Main Street cultural district.

Moved in 2015 just a few doors down on Main Street, but the feel is different. The lovely wrap-around porch is a great place to great the day and watch passers-by. The interior is smaller than the old site, and feels much more hectic. But the food is as good as ever. Love the tomato-mozzarella on ciabatta and the tomato-basic... More

Bad customer service can make or break a restaurant with good food. That was the case here. The minute we walked in, the server seemed like she had a bad attitude. She literally threw my change at me. The gumbo was not as good as one would expect. The lobster roll was good. The jury is out as to whether... More

Fresh, great variety, easy to dine-in and easy to take-out. A menu that is varied enough to offer breakfast all day, loberster salad for those in need, vegetarian options and great snadwiches. No nonsense and located just at the edge of Vineyard Haven's bustling commericial scene.

We enjoyed a great late breakfast on their porch. The menu has a good variety, and come hungry since the portion size is generous.

We got the John Alden ( Roasted Turkey ) and the French Quarter ( Roast Beef ) sandwiches so we could try half of each. I preferred the turkey, my husband preferred the roast beef. Both were excellent so it was almost a flip of the coin. I was expecting the bread to be on the tough chewy side but... More

This cafe was just what my friends and I were looking for, the sandwiches are great value for money and is a large portion which is great for any hungry travellers! Outdoor seating is great during the summer.
