New Year’s Eve and our anniversary so decided to spend a little extra and splurge. Checked a few package deals on line and decided on here. We have been here before and had mixed experiences but being the holiday, hoped for the better. We were seated promptly in a small side table – very cozy. About 10 minutes later the... More

I don't enjoy signing up just to give Stonehedge Inn a bad review but our lunch experience warrants it. I came for lunch last week with my niece as we've heard the property has switched hands so we wanted to give it a try for lunch. We were the only party seated in the entire restaurant at noon for lunch... More

My boyfriend and I bought the groupon deal for this restaurant, it was 1 app, 2 entrees, a dessert, and 2 coffees for $55. It is a good place to check out it you have a deal like this but I wouldn't go without one. It is pretty pricey, and although I enjoyed all my food, my boyfriend's meal was... More

Dear Christine B. Thank you for taking the time to write a review. I appreciate any and all feedback. I'm glad that you enjoyed your meal but am curious about what your boyfriend had that was plain. Hopefully, he enjoyed it anyway. Regarding the vibe, (which I'm assuming is the quietness of the night in the dining room), we experienced... More

We have been to Stonehedge/Left Bank 3 times. The first time was a disappointment for service and food. The second was a business dinner hosted by me that was ok but not memorable and the third was a few days ago and it was just bad. Three strikes and you are out! First we were a group of 4 people... I was a guest with friends for a wine dinner and all I can take from it was disappointment. I was a guest and was not paying for the ticket but if I had spent my own money I would want it all back! The dinner featured not one but 3 types of pinot noir which I found a bit... More

Came for a winery dinner and experienced uneven cuisine. Elements in the dishes seemed not entirely harmonious. One item stood out: a Cornish pasty was so dry and spare inside it should never have left the kitchen. Essentially it ate as all dry pastry, with vague filling notes. We did discuss this with the chef too. Area to improve immediately:... More

Dear Qpower1, It was a pleasure meeting you and your wife at the last wine dinner. I appreciate your feedback and your critique of the Cornish Rabbit Pie. The culinary team and myself sample the wines and develop a menu that best showcases our seasonal, local product as well as the taking into account the suggestions of the wine maker.... More

Food was very good, the service was some of the best we have experienced. Wine, as always at Left Bank, was excellent. Jeremy, our wine steward, was outstanding and very helpful. Overall, it was a great dinner without being hurried. We finished our wine at the fireplace located near the entrance to the dining room.

A few friends gathered for a small reunion over dinner and drinks in the lounge section of the restaurant recently. The ambiance was really nice. Classy, actually -- a great fireplace, comfortable seating, and enough room to talk without feeling intrusive to other guests. The service was attentive and the food and drinks were quite good. Best of all we... More
