Our Place to Go on the Cape

Now that we're legitimate Truro residents rather than just members of a five-generation Truro vacation family, Savory is our default setting. Best burgers on the Outer Cape, excellent sandwiches, good pizza, wonderful homemade ice cream (best on Cape Cod), fair price, no ambiance, great outdoor seating in season.

A friend and I were taking a road trip and decided to spend the night in Provincetown - what we did not take into account, however, is how many places up here close up for the winter! Luckily, we were able to make our way to Savory. The pizza here was delicious, if not a little pricey. For a pizza,... More

Offseason on a Sunday we got the best pizza on the best crust! The desserts were good, the game was on, and our brood is still raving. Wish we had room for the ice cream!

This place is awesome! Best scones I have ever had. You have to try the cheddar and bacon scones (only available on Sunday). Melt in your mouth! Great pizza, sandwiches. A must if you are on the Cape.

Sweet escapes!! They have some incredible desserts and ice creams. The pizza is thin crust and delicious. The panini's are wonderful as well as the grilled chicken with peppers, and onions on focaccia bread. But the real focus of my search was to find good pizza on cape cod. A very difficult proposition. We had the fresh tomatoes and basil. Also... More

Excellent thin crust pizza with the freshest tomato and basil topping. Took pastries home (Dennis) for birthday celebration. They were some of the best Cannoli and Tiramisu I have eaten in a long time. The caramel cheesecake with chocolate ganache was wasn't too shabby either. Looking for excuses to drive back toTruro!

Good range of choice on sandwich menu. Like the pizza, love the cupcakes, indulge in the ice cream. A local go to in the off season.

Since this restaurant is close to the condo we rented, we went there a number of times. Everything is good. The homemade ice cream is wonderful- try the Pumpkin Ginger or Toasted Coconut. They have an in house bakery, so all their baked goods are excellent- try the Cranberry Walnut Cookie. I had a roasted vegetable ((red peppers and eggplant)... More
