Perhaps, expectations were too high

Based, in part, on other reviews, we made a reservation here for our anniversary. We were seated at a corner table by a window. The atmosphere was nice; but plain. My wife had salmon with lobster mac & cheese. She thought it was very good. I had the hanger steak with spinach and mashed... read more

Found the restaurant on trip advisor and it did not disappoint. Started with the soup du jour a cream of spinacjh which was very good. I had the grilled cheese with sweet potato fries. It was not your typical grilled cheese but a wonderful blend topped with bacon. And the sweet potato fries were crisp and plentiful. A Sauvignon blanc... More

I have been here before, booked through Open Table, but decided to sit at the bar. Bartenders were really enjoying the company of some regulars so I may have picked a bad night. They have a really interesting array of cocktails and mates enjoyed the variety. Salad with goat cheese was pleasant. Asparagus a bit overcooked, listed as grilled but... More

I live in Litchfield County Ct and have daughters in Boston...where to meet? By chance picked Cedar Street Grill for brunch and now after our second visit I just wanted to give my thumbs up! Awesome staff, food at reasonable prices. Relaxing atmosphere, excellent service made our time catching up so enjoyable.

Had heard about this spot for years and finally made it there. Great atmosphere compliments of the clean Craftsman architecture and decor. Parking can be a bit snug but worth the effort. The stuffed dates were the stuff dreams are made of. The Hanger Steak with Asparagus was well seasoned and the kitchen nailed the temperature. Add in a friendly... More

It's a culinary treat that you can't do often because it's a little pricey but it is soo worth it, the menu is not overwhelming but just a perfect amount , the small plate with a side is a perfect portion ,the food was excellent and the presentation very pleasing to the eye,I would say if you want to treat... Happened this place accidentally during Hurricane Irene, and thought I was I an epicurean dream. I went back last night and still have not awakened. We sat at the same table. Crazy dates while on an insanely in love anniversary date night rocked.

I was in Brimfield for the May antiuqe show and stopped at Cedar Street Grille for lunch. Very nice restaurant with helpful wait staff. Also a very good draught beer menu. We started off with some fried pickles, chicken wings and fried kale which were all very good. Most of my party had the beef or lobster sliders which were... More
