After spending a delightful day in Sturbridge , my daughter, & her friend wanted to take me to a quaint historic inn for dinner for our last evening in this charming city. Our waitress inquired would we like to begin with a cocktail , we replied that would be nice. As each of us placed our request: the waitress relayed... More

After winding our way through a wedding party that was taking place at the Inn, we were promptly seated by the fireplace. Our server Lindsey was great. She gave us time to settle in, came back in enough time to take our orders. Bread was yummy, Bloody Mary was just right and the Prime Rib was awesome. My husband had... More

We haven't eaten here in a few years so decided to stop in on our trip to Sturbridge. We ate in the tavern and were very pleased with our meal, our server, the atmosphere and price! I had the turkey dinner and, let me tell you, it was great! I was pleased they offered all white meat, all dark, or... More

Very poor service - food took a very long time to get to us. Our meals were cold. We were very surprised and quite disappointed.

Once again, the Publick House served up a wonderful meal. From a super margarita to the bread served as an appetizer, this was a great meal!

Have eaten here many times over the years while passing through Sturbidge. I typically go to the Ebenezer's Tavern section. I ordered the Shepard's Pie and was presented with this massive size portion. It was very disappointing and could only eat a small amount. It has all the taste and appearance that it was made well in advanced and popped... More

We enjoy historic properties and restaurants. The Publick House has a large menu and the food is a good value. We recommend the Chicken Pot Pie and the Turkey Dinner (just like Thanksgiving!) If you stop by a local shopping center you can pick up the free Yankee Trader that had a 2 for 1 coupon.

Food is well prepared and plentiful. The service is usually good but occasionally the waitstaff can be a little abrupt. Thanksgiving Dinner (all year on the menu) is a great bargain. Lobster Newburgh is consistently good. Sunday brunch is a special treat with Indian Pudding as part of the fare. Sticky buns from the bakery are outstanding. Food is good,... More

This appetizer was the best dish I have ever had in my life. "Hold the meatloaf entree, I'm done!" :)

We intended to eat here one night while in the area visiting Old Sturbridge Village, the meal was so good we went back the second night! First night my husband had the filet which was moist and tender, I had their signature turkey dinner-excellent. Service was warm and friendly without being pushy. We enjoyed it all so much we returned... More
