Went there and ordered the fried clams...not many received in return, and mediocre at best. Just a local watering hole without a doubt.

Typical bar food, that hits the spot. The food is consitently good and staff is always pleasant. Nothing on the menu is going to knock your socks off, but you get what you came for and leave satisfied. Whenever I'm in the mood for bar and grill food I hit this spot up.

Got this off GPS and it worked out very well. Sat in a comfortable dining room away from bar area. Our waitress was so very cordial and pleasant. Dinner proved to be a winner. Coffee and dessert,a leftover box for meatloaf & veggies and away we go. You do get enough to eat. Would recommend - YES.

Whenever we are traveling along I90 we make a point of making time to stop at the Admiral's. We have gotten to the point of no longer needing a menu, Cajun shrimp to start and the best fried whole clams you will find inland. The selection of beer on tap always provides an opportunity to try something different. Pub atmosphere... More

Lobster roll chewy and Caesar salad not fresh. Not a good dinner for me. The clam chowder was delicious and he liked his steak though.

After a trip to Old Sturbridge Village, I asked for a recommendation for a seafood restaurant. This restaurant was recommended and has great food and service. I woul not sit in the pub area, too noisy.

We had dinner here while staying overnight in Sturbridge. My daughter ordered the chicken parmesan w/ pasta and we could have literally shared it between the two of us! The chicken breast was almost as long as the oval plate it was served on - plate was probably 12 inches long so maybe a 10 inch chicken breast? I ordered... More

No other way to put it. When I ordered my mushroom & swiss burger with onions I specifically asked the waitress to make sure that was all that was on the burger. I said "No sauces, mayo, etc" and she said no problem. When the burger arrived it was slathered in mayo aioli sauce (evidenced by the first bite). So... More

The food was exceptional for what appeared to be a "bar" type establishment. Two of us had the rib-eyes...yum! and one had the salmon. Mashed potatoes were to die for however the summer squash could have been cooked a bit longer...or just cooked for that matter. Staff couldn't have been more helpful. Frequently checked in & had a great attitude!... More
