The dishes i had the last few times i came here were delicious. Their burrata is to die for , its so creamy and delicious. The Gnocchi Bolognese was amazing as well and i can't wait to go back. I'm a foodie for sure because overall if food is delicious i want to go back somewhere. I enjoy a nice... More

The atmosphere and food wee incredible. The antipasti was delicious as was the bread and oil for dipping. The Pasta Carbonara was outstanding...al dente buccatini, and crispy pancetta bites made the flavor oustanding, But best of all, for those who must eat Gluten Free, they truly "get it"! My wife is gluen intolerant and her pasta with bolognese sauce was... More

After a great experience with the regular dinner menu on a previous visit we decided to give the Sunday buffet a try. We started off with a selection of two salads, a garden salad and mixed greens with fresh croutons accompanied by two tasty salad dressings. The piping hot entrees were meatballs and Italian sausage in homemade tomato sauce, stuffed shells,... Ate dinner last spring here with friends we were visiting, and one of us ordered shrimp scampi, which arrived in the condition looking like what we thought was uncooked. He sent it back **twice, and it still wasn't white (as cooked shrimp *should* be). He ate it and ended up getting very sick back at the hotel. (The rest of... More

Way better than I assumed it would be just because we were out in Sturbridge Village for the day and it was either Avellino's or the BBQ place near there. Very good food and portions, worth the money you spent, courteous service, and better Italian than I'd had on the North End (Boston) on occasion. Can't ask for much more... More

I hosted a business dinner here for six and we all left very happy. From wine to shared appetizers to dinners and desserts, everything we tried was delicious. Nice ambiance and great service. Our entire group of out-of-towners opted to eat here again for our next meeting in a few months rather than try a different restaurant in town.

We didn't have a reservation so we waiting 45 mins, we kept looking into the dining room and there were 2 tables that needed to be cleared off. I went up to the hostess and said something and they cleared a table for us. We should have... More

This is my second visit to the newly opened Avellino Restaurant and both times have be an excellent experience. (The restaurant was previously the Whistling Swan and I was hoping the experience would equal that restaurant.....it did!) The wait staff is incredible, as are the greeters and bar staff. I ordered a Carbonara pasta dish with scallops after being assured... More

We had an amazing birthday celebration here. Chef Rico, Dakota and the staff made sure that every detail was perfect. Our server was excellent. He was always available when needed but never intrusive. The food was to-die-for! The menu was inventive, easily overcoming the challenges of accommodating the gluten free and vegetarian requirements of two people in our party. There... More
