May be a little difficult to find. It was well worth the try. The dishes were all very flavorful. We had a pleasant evening after a busy day so we enjoyed the quiet ambiance.
We just found this place in July after coming to the area for years. The food is exceptional! We are planning to work our way thro the menu! The currys are very tasty & not overly spicy. I fell on a recent trip (slipped on some spilled food) & the next time we visited we were given complimentary wine. Staff... More
It is a magnificent Thai restaurant in the middle of nowhere. I have been to sturbridge 3 times and 3 times I ate here. Simply the best Restaurant Around. There is also an incredibly good sushi restaurant. What these 2 are doing here it makes me wonder. They are as good as a very good restaurant in NYC.
Although somewhat hidden between two dress shops, the place was nice inside. The food was not exceptional, but was quite good and the lunch portions were more thn adequate. We each had a version of Fried Rice - one spicy and the other not. Both were quite good. Prices were very reasonable. Service was pleasant and speedy.
This place has a knowledgeable owner, a tiny nice bar and a good selection of spirits. It feels fancy and is good enough for a semi-elegant date. The food is Thai, and I haven't had any disappointments, but neither have I had wows, but I am picky.
We loved this little restaurant! When we travel we hope to find exotic foods with fantastic spices. This restaurant more than fit the bill. We enjoyed a sampler appetizer platter, seafood fried rice and a pork cutlet dish that was so good, my husband almost licked the dish! We loved the food, the atmosphere was nice and service was good.... More
This place is a little hidden but serves a nice variety of food. I always enjoy oriental style and this was a good place to quench the desire. I never tried the Thai cuisine but the seafood and oriental was good. Servers were very attentive and it seemed like a popular place to dine.
We decided to give this restaurant, on the edge of Old Sturbridge Village, a try when the Oliver Wight Tavern at OSV was closed for lunch. Excellent service, delicious Pad Thai and very reasonable prices. WIll gladly return again.
The food you find at Thai Place doesn't even remotely taste like Thai food I have eaten at other paces. It is bland, boring, and sometimes nasty.
It's a surprise to find a good Thai restaurant on the road into Sturbridge Village. We didn't go with high expectations but were very pleased with the breadth of choices and the actual preparation of the food. The prices and service are excellent, too. I'd definitely return when in the area again.
