We thought this place was great. The homemade hummus wrap was delicious and fresh. The cinnamon vanilla ice coffee was the best I've had in a long time. You won't be disappointed!

Attended a beautiful bridal shower at the Public House in Sturbridge, MA today. Delicious food and beautiful atmosphere. Outstanding landscaped grounds. Purple, yellow and white flowers everywhere, including throughout the parking areas. Manicured lawns and barrels of flowers added to the beauty of the facility. Magnificent décor throughout the rooms and bar area, including unique items. Good time had by... More

I love the atmosphere, but their coffee is very disappointing. When they have playgroups you definitely want to stay away if you are trying to catch up with a friend.

First comment - the picture above is VERY dated - the coffeehouse moved to a new, marvelous location several years ago. The new building is part of the attraction - it is a beautiful place that was built as an inn, with soaring ceilings and exposed beams, a cozy fireplace and two-level seating. Second comment - if you want a... More

When you walk into this restaurant, you see the large fireplace. There's plenty of seating and this coffee house/inn has plenty of style. The lunches here are fantastic, especially for Vegetarians (I recommend the "Tasty Veggie" sandwich with their fries). Definitely will come back in the future!

Good coffee, good food, friendly staff, more than comfortable seating. But terrible operationally (taking the orders and getting the food to you in reasonable time). If there is a line there, just leave. It will be 15 or 20 minutes before they take the order, and then more before the food comes. It's like they either haven't realized that this... More

First I must say that the coffee is ok and the bakery offerings are tasty ... I had a breakfast sandwich and the egg was runny...;yuck.. So much for that .. My main issue is the lack of counter help (2 baristas) max Most days (early mornings ) the line is almost out the door ... And I leave and... More

If you would like a sunny, happy atmosphere to sit with your friends and talk over coffee and soup or pastries - or if you would like a quiet place to work on your computer, the Sturbridge Coffee House is for you. The staff is SO NICE! The SCH does a lot for the community, too. Very clean, very pretty... More

I love coming here. I get my coffee and muffins. If I have time I bring a book and sit and read. Love this place!
