We've had brunch many times here. Most have been fine, but this one makes me really wonder what in the world was going on. I took my wife and 2 kids here for Mother's Day and we paid the $129 up front with our reservation. We arrived at 10am and were immediately confronted with a huge disorganized line to get... More

We got brunch included in our stay at the Sturbridge Inn. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The food was good and there were a lot of choices for the price. Would definitely recommend the brunch.

We have enjoyed the brunch offered on Sundays as it offers excellent variety, pleasant staff and a wonderful atmosphere. I would always recommend making a reservation, though, because the wait may be long otherwise. Also, the entrees do get swapped out from time to time during the meal, so if you don't see what you are hoping for at first,... More

Very pleased with the Sunday Brunch offering at the Oliver Wight Tavern. They are meticulous in keeping the food fresh and appetizing right up to the end of the seating. Excellent variety of food available.

Something went very very wrong at the Oliver Wright Tavern.......... On Saturday December 7, 2013 our family was in town for our Christmas Holiday celebration. What better way to celebrate then by going to Christmas Lights at Old Sturbridge Village followed by dinner at the Oliver Wright Tavern? I told my family it was going to be a magical night.... More

Our party of 8 visited the Oliver Wight Tavern last night following a Christmas By Candlelight Tour. When we were seated for our 7:30PM reservation we were left unattended for the next 20 minutes when our waitress then arrived to announce that most of the items of a very limited menu were no longer available. At 8:30 a basket of... More

The Oliver Wright Tavern at the entrance to Old Sturbridge Village is a good choice for a Sunday buffet. There is a good variety of typical breakfast / brunch items -- omelet bar, carving station, comfort breakfast food (sausage, bacon, scrambled eggs, and country potatoes), waffle and french toast station (make your own fresh waffles), danish and bread station, salad... We were a party of 18. We had a reservation and were seated on time, even though several members of our party had yet to arrive. There are several stations featuring a variety of items: a wonderful omelet station, salad area, carving station, warm brunch-type entrees, breads and pastries, sausage/bacon/homefries, and a dessert area. Nothing is fancy, more comfort food... More

If you are ok with a buffet it is fine. There is a wide variety and things are generally tasty. It's a bit on the expensive side for a buffet and it will be a little loud with the many children running around. The staff is helpful and friendly. There are special event dinners, too, such as Thanksgiving.
