Everything was great, except that they ran out of scallops. So I opted for the duck and it was really good. Its nice to see a variety of risotto's on the menu. We informed them that we were going to the theatre and gave ourselves 75 minutes, but the food still took longer then expected, even with our notice, so... More

Don't let the storefront on Main St. in Stoneham Square fool you--this meal can hold it's own with the best of the urban spots. We have been a handful of times over the past year and have been consistently impressed. Most recently, we shared the calamari appetizer, which was one of the best ever. I am not even a huge... More

One of the best meals in a long time. Sure. downtown Stoneham is not the North End and lacks the ambiance and excitement. But the food is absolutely fabulous. It is like a storefront restaurant and upon entering, you will see the white tablecloths and an open kitchen. I presume everything is fresh and made from scratch. Our waiter was... More

Recently took my wife there for a last minute dinner. We've been before, but not for a few years. We enjoyed our meal (crab cakes were awesome, salmon was v good) - I'd say a fair criticism of the place is the slow service (took 20-30 mins just get a drink) - they clearly need to hire some waitstaff. We'll... More

We also tried this restaurant on a Groupon and we loved it. The food was excellent and fresh. The prices are a little steep, but comparable to other restaurants of this type. It is small and cozy and you get the service that you would hope for in a restaurant this size. The staff was very friendly. We highly recommend... More

We recently went to Melissa's Main Street Bistro with a Groupon. We had never heard of Melissa's before (which is why Groupon is a great idea). There were 4 of us, and we all ordered difference dishes. Everything, and I mean every thing we ordered was perfection from the appetizers (asparagus wrapped in prosciutto) to the salads (caprese was delish,... More

It is small, the food is cooked to order , and they have an interesting menu . Not a boring meat and potatoes place. Be prepared to spend a little time but it is not suppose to be a fast food restaurant I took my sister here for a 4 course dinner and every course was to die for

Second time going here because its right next to the Stoneham Theatre. Very rude service both times. To the point I will not go back.

My sister and I went to Melissa's about one month ago and loved this small restaurant. Our waitress, Lauren was wonderful and very informative. My sister had a pork tenderloin dish with raviolis with a sage sauce and I had the panko haddock. It took some time to receive our meals, which was fine and well worth the wait to... More

We used a groupon that included appetizer, salads, entrees and dessert. We had the asparagus wrapped with prosciutto, salads, filet and haddock with flour less cake. The food was amazing and had great service because we went when it opened to beat the crowds. The staff was very pleasant and would highly recommend this place! We will be back.
