The food was good, although service was slow on two visits. If you're not in a hurry, this has good food for reasonable prices. Note: no refills on soft drinks.

We had breakfast three mornings while staying at the Red Lion Inn. While the choices are familiar, what stands out are freshly made OJ, delicious 12 grain toast, exceptional pancakes and a big blue cup of peppermint tea. Great service.

If you like a great homemade soup, this is the place for you. Love their corn chowder, chock full of veggies and served hot. If you like a good sandwich, this is the place for you. I had an old school grilled cheese and tomato sandwich on 12-grain bread with some chips and spicy mustard for dipping (the sandwich, that... More

Stopped in for lunch after the busy July 4th weekend. Took a seat at the counter and we weren't disappointed. I ordered the turkey ranch sandwich on wheat (instead of the wrap) and a cup of lentil soup. Soup was really fresh and good (just a little too much pepper) and the sandwich was terrific! Service was very friendly and... More

The atmosphere of the restaurant was cute, had it not been for the shrieking babies running around the room and disrupting customers. In addition, the wait staff took forever to get us our food- waiting about 45 minutes for a sandwich and salad at lunch time. The cafe is not a particularly big space and doesn't have that many people... More

Before we visited the Norman Rockwell Museum we parked in Stockbridge, with its very short main street, looking for a place to have lunch. The Main Street Cafe looked inviting. Small and welcoming with very good made-to-order sandwiches. The New England clam chowder was thick and the chicken salad with walnut sandwich was quite tasty. My wife enjoyed her grilled... More

Stopped in lunch on a Thursday afternoon. A/C was good, but that's about it. My ham and swiss was meager, served with chips that tasted just like Tostitos. My wife's salmon sandwich was served on the wrong selection of bread - but tasted very good nonetheless. My request for a glass of water was acknowledged but never arrived. Really, there... More

This restaurant was one recommended by many different sources and all were correct in doing so - very simple, straight forward, comfortable, easy menu with loads of options and I discovered a new personal favorite - a SBLT - that's Salmon, Bacon, Lettuce & Tomato on great bread - wow - as soon as I can find a suitable tomato,... We've been coming to Stockbridge for many years and stopped in this cafe for lunch years ago. While the food is good the desserts, which are homemade are incredible, best I ever had. This past week we stopped in on Tuesday and I went in early to ask what the pie of the day was. Teresa told me there was... More

We stopped here for our last breakfast before heading home quite early. The restaurant was open at 7:00 when we arrived. The food was good, but we were a little apprehensive when my wife saw the chef blow his nose, and not wash his hands while preparing our breakfast. Fortunately, our food was cooked afterwards, and we did not get... More
