The Lion's Den pub, located downstairs at The Red Lion Inn, offers entertainment seven nights a week, and never a cover charge. There's different entertainment each night, with regular appearances by local performers including David Grover, the Sun Mountain Fiddler, and the Housatonic Philharmonic, offering everything from acoustic folk to R&B, and reggae to the blues. Some nationally recognized performers have been known to grace our humble pub stage from time to time - James Taylor, Lauren Ambrose and Roger Salloom among them.On chilly nights ask for a table by the fireplace and enjoy a genuine pint of ale or stout, a glass of your favorite wine, or a mug of hot mulled cider - all accompanied by our classic pub fare. The Lion's Den is open (until 1 a.m. on weekends), with entertainment from 9 p.m. to midnight Friday and Saturday and entertainment from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. Sunday through Thursday. House guests can access the Lion's Den through the Tavern, or by entering beneath the red awning on Main Street.

Good food and music - every night

The Lions Den is a fun place to catch some local music and have some good pub grub. The menu is limited compared to what is served upstairs in the pub and main dining room. This dive has ok food, ok live music. Since they are open 365 days a year and since it's the only place in town, ya' gotta love it! Families are fine here.

Our family was passing through and heard about this historic town. We were promptly greeted by our waitress who took our drink orders and also brought us each a glass of ice water. We had the cheese appetizer which was out of the this world. We chose a regional cheese and it was delicious. For dinner I had the grilled... More

I had a Chicken Sausage with Broccoli Rabe on a Roll. It was fine but nothing great. It was dark in the building and kind of tight for seating. It served the purpose since I was hungry but it is not a place that I would go out of my way to go to eat. Restaurants in general in Stockbridge... More

Great food, Thursday is Chicken Pot Pie special night. The best I have had. Add that to the live music, great night out. A word to the wise about transportation in the area (unrelated to Lion's Den, just designated driver). The owner of TAXICO, Linda is an absolute thief! We called the Lee, MA location to go four miles. We have... More

We loved the low ceilings and friendly atmosphere. Great service. Food has a German feel to it. Go to indulge! And the apple pie is to DIE for!

Liked the chili, soup du jour and cheesecake. Musician was terrific. Disliked that we couldn't extend our vacation longer.

Good food, drinks a little pricey. I ordered a couple apps with my fiance and there was more than enough food. Good prices for a young couple.

Loved the food, the ambiance, the service. We were with friends and everyone really enjoyed their meal. There were many autumn decorations and it was such a sweet New England Inn.

Had lunch at the Den and returned for the desserts and entertainment in the evening. Get there early to get a good spot!
