In the basement fo the Red Lyon Inn, the service is always friendly and the food is reasonable and tasty. The Red Lyon sources alot fo produce locally, so you can always be assured of a great meal. In addition there is music here nightly, so it is a great place for all four seasons in the Berkshires

Just what the name describes, a Pub under the Red Lion Inn, not pretentious at all, Good pub food and wait staff kept us with beer and cheer all evening. The local musicians were entertaining with original music and traditional folksy blues. It made for nice evening entertainment.

I walked here to listen to music one evening, a very loud place where you couldn't hear the music, very dark and dated! The food was good and service was friendly

We were having a special meal and chose the Lion's Den because of its good reputation. As my wife was eating her salad she discovered a fly in the dressing!. . . the waitress brought the manager who timidly said he was sorry but said "things like this happen" in a restaurant. Their attitude was cavalier and only mildly circumspect... More

Thank you for taking the time to write down your experience. Some things are out of our control but how we respond to issues is not and it seems like we fell short in that regard and for that I apologize. Beneath the historic and beautiful Red Lion Inn you will find the Lion’s Den. It’s like a step back in time and you would not be surprised to encounter a few Minute Men hoisting tankards of ale inside after a long day’s watch in the nearby forests. But fortunately for us, the ale and the kitchen have been brought up... More

The service and overall stressed out wait staff or the under staffing of wait staff was noticeable. We were forced to leave unhappy due to a condescending manager/waiter who thought waiting for a table after 1pm for luncheon after drining in from Connecticut was acceptable. Tourist's should be treated better after all without the service industry being top notch. Everyone... More

The Lion's Den attracts locals and tourists alike. It is located in the basement of the Red Lion Inn. The menu is simple yet elegant. They have some wonderful salads with house made dressings. If you want to try a twist on a hot dog, they have one (you get 2) that is homemade. It has a slight smokey flavor... More

It sucked. Absolutely terrible. Food was eh. But Tue device was horrendus . maybe I got a bad day at the pub or something but the ONE waiter that was there was unattentive and forgetful. Didn't refill drinks. Our shrimp was under cooked. The only good thing was the atmosphere.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. I can honestly say we had an off night. I spoke to the cook who in haste sent out a product he shouldn't have and to a young server who through your comments now realizes the importance of his attention! We are not perfect by any means, but... More

I was last at the pub almost 15 years ago without kids so I wasn't sure what to expect taking my kids there for dinner. I was pleasantly surprised to learn they have a children's menu. The service and desserts were great and all were happy with the meal!! Would definitely recommend for anyone.

A very enjoyable place to relax for a drink in a good and unpretentious setting. I have met my husband there many times for a drink and early dinner. There are daily specialities for $10. I usually don't eat red meat but have ordered the chili several times and found it rich and satisfying. When family members were visiting we... More
