Delicious food and cozy atmosphere

Had a wonderful late afternoon meal at the Pub. It is basically the downstairs of the Red Lion Inn - great atmosphere. It is an older pub - but had good ambiance. Had a small varied menu - but the food was delicious and wait staff very cordial. Great way to spend a late summer afternoon. I... read more

I really like the Victorian pub touches at the Lion's Den and I've had drinks here before, but this was my first time eating a meal. I thought my lunch was delicious I ordered a something akin to a grilled BLT made with bacon, arugula, and tomato. All the ingredients were very fresh. It's hard to beat an in-season tomato,... Debated whether to give a Poor rating based on our latest experience, but decided on generosity. The place certainly has ambience:dark, below street le el, you can imagine travellers in the late 1700s hoisting a flagon of ale here. Not many folks make the trek downstairs, so we have never seen it crowded, yet 2 of our 4 apps were... More

Fun and different, good local place., sometimes has entertainment, sing-a-long, reasonably priced drinks.

The Lion's Den is a wonderful late night destination after an evening at Tanglewood or The Berkshire Playhouse. The Pub menu is good and the entertainment lots of fun.

Wonderful lunch! We were a group of 10people and everyone loved their selection. The turkey sandwich was thick slices of real turkey breast with stuffing and cranberry mayo. Soups were home made.

We enjoyed our late lunch/early dinner at the pub on the porch. The food is always great, service excellent and a lovely atmosphere. I'd highly recommend the grilled salmon on one of the salad selections. My friend had the chicken pot pie and thought it was wonderful too. Our host and server was Ahmet and he was great - fun... The gluten free choices were not as many as in previous years, and my burger was overcooked. My other experiences here in past years have been great though.

We spent an afternoon in Stockbridge and decided to grab lunch here. We were warmly greeted and told it would be a bit of a wait for a table, so we opted to sit at the bar. Katie was an absolute gem. She offered tasters of the local brews, made sure our glasses were kept full and got our food... More

The food in this restaurant is very local and fresh. The atmosphere is a bit worn, but still charming. Also the price is not inexpensive. The red Lion Inn is a unique and historic property in Stockbridge. A unique experience!
