The Lion's Den attracts locals and tourists alike. It is located in the basement of the Red Lion Inn. The menu is simple yet elegant. They have some wonderful salads with house made dressings. If you want to try a twist on a hot dog, they have one (you get 2) that is homemade. It has a slight smokey flavor... More

It sucked. Absolutely terrible. Food was eh. But Tue device was horrendus . maybe I got a bad day at the pub or something but the ONE waiter that was there was unattentive and forgetful. Didn't refill drinks. Our shrimp was under cooked. The only good thing was the atmosphere.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. I can honestly say we had an off night. I spoke to the cook who in haste sent out a product he shouldn't have and to a young server who through your comments now realizes the importance of his attention! We are not perfect by any means, but... More

I was last at the pub almost 15 years ago without kids so I wasn't sure what to expect taking my kids there for dinner. I was pleasantly surprised to learn they have a children's menu. The service and desserts were great and all were happy with the meal!! Would definitely recommend for anyone.

A very enjoyable place to relax for a drink in a good and unpretentious setting. I have met my husband there many times for a drink and early dinner. There are daily specialities for $10. I usually don't eat red meat but have ordered the chili several times and found it rich and satisfying. When family members were visiting we... More

Excellent meal downstairs in the Lion's Den. We checked in at the Red Lion Inn (upstairs) about 730pm, and neither one of us wanted a big meal, so downstairs we went. Excellent wine list, and their sausages are housemade. I had a delicious Chicken Sausage (sandwich but I don't eat bread so just asked for it without it); my husband... More

Great sandwiches, but very dank and musty a stay away for anyone with allergies. Upstairs bar has same food, better atmosphere.

We had a wine and cheese hour at our Inn before going there for dinner, so it was nice to be able to get a lighter dinner.

We stayed overnight at the Inn which was delightful! We were not up to a formal dinner in the main dining room and were delighted to have dinner in the Pub. We had the famous turkey sandwiches which were great. A folk guitarist entertained us and it was a wonderful evening. The food and the atmosphere are relaxed and the... More
