Good local produce used for dinner. Small wine list and not many choices for dinner. We went in Feb and it was cold in the small dining room.

Had a lovely meal! Good food, good wine, reasonable price! Service attentive and friendly. We both had the specials which were well prepared. Love the rolls!

This restaurant is located in the mews (a pedestrian alley), just off Main St., not far from the Red Lion Inn. There are wooden tabletops over cranberry cloth tablecloths & cloth napkins. It's an intimate space as there are only 11 tables. The lunch menu looked promising. My friend & I decided to order 2 different lunch entrees & split... More

We happened upon this great little eatery on a recent visit. We were seated in a wonderfully sunny corner. I had the turkey sandwich with cranberry aioli on sourdough. Fresh sliced turkey and the most wonderful bread perfectly toasted. My boyfriend had the chicken gorgonzola on a focaccia roll and said it was wonderful. Perfect serving size for a lunch.

Past the sign for Yankee Candle, and down the alleyway -- that's where you'll find Once Upon a Table. A small restaurant, but an excellent one. It was quaint, cozy and quiet! Our server was Kari and she did an excellent job. We walked in with another couple, that we did not know, and we had tables near each other,... More

This restaurant has a select number of tables so it is never too crowded or loud. The waitress was informed and friendly. The food was of good portion and delicious. I had the Penne mac and cheese and my wife had the salmon. Both of us were both pleased and satisfied (in both spirit and belly).

The restaurant is small and cozy. Very few people were dining there so if you want to go somewhere and get immediate attention this is the place. If you are looking for superb food at a good price- not so much. The food was average and overpriced for quality and quantity. A small bowl of soup $9.00, main course $19.00.... More

Finding a place in the Berkshires for lunch that is open on a winter weekday and serves wine is no small fete. And Once Upon a Table was a wonderful find. The menu offered several tempting choices. The clam chowder was loaded with clams, and not loaded with potatoes or starch. My friend had the imaginative escargot pot pie (!)... More
