We enjoyed lunch at Once Upon a Table. A beautiful fall day, and we chose to sit outside; a weekday, before the autumn leaves tours began, it was not very busy. The service was very friendly, quick, and helpful (our server even checked out information online for us). The salmon Greek salad was fresh, delicious, and of generous size. The... More

My husband and I were driving through Stockbridge on a beautiful day and decided to stop to get a bite to eat. It was later in the afternoon so we figured out choices were going to be limited. We first checked out the menu at The Red Lion Inn and was sort of shocked at the high prices, so we... More

The service was exceptional and the dining room small but very private for each party. The chef had a wide selection of specials and the two we ordered were exceptional. The price pint was very reasonable at about $100.00 for two with wine and without desert. I would definitely revisit!

It is small and reservations are a best bet to get a table but it is 100% worth it. It is a hidden gem and I love going there everytime I am in the Berkshires.

A quick walk down a small alley led us to this delightful restaurant. Fortunately we made the short drive from the Norman Rockwell museum to the Stockbridge town area and found this small restaurant. Luckily we arrived after the lunch crowd and had our choice of seating. We opted for one of the small rod iron tables in the courtyard,... More

This restaurant came highly recommended from friends who have visited several times. Since I was planning a Labor Day weekend visit, I made a reservation. Thank goodness because they turned away several parties while we were there. The service was excellent and the food was superb! My friend had the pecan crusted rainbow trout and I had the crab cakes;... More

I have to agree with the previous reviewer, we found the service to be rude and unfriendly. The manager (or owner, not sure) attempted to address our issue, only to make it worse with his attitude. I had eaten athis restaurant 3 years ago, and looked forward to returning. Needless to say, I will not be back again.

They don't have many tables, and stay packed because the food is excellent!!! They also easily accommodated gluten free.

Really good restaurants are few and far between in Stockbridge. Don't miss this one. Great food and service. We loved it.

We were looking for a nice, sit down breakfast on our way to a Sunday morning hike, and wandered down the alley near the Red Lion. Then I remembered stopping here 10 years ago! I liked it then, and we loved it now. I had a light, tasty spinach quiche, served with a small salad. Hubby had the eggs Benedict... More
