We have eaten at least one dinner and all of our breakfasts in the Main Dining Room at the Red Lion Inn during all of our weekend visits here over the years and I have to say, this is one special place! Every meal is a special occasion! We usually stay at the Red Lion Inn with a "Getaway package",... More

It is always nice to arrive at a hotel later afternoon and not have to leave it for dinner. White table cloths, candles or table lamps, good food and service make your evening an enjoyable experience.

I do not know what the Berkshires would be like without this beautiful Inn, Dining Room, Tavern, and the small club/bistro with live entertainment. I have lived in Stockbridge so I am familiar with all aspects of the Red Lion. As a visitor to the area, you will never be disappointed with a meal and a visit here. Just do... More

Our server seemed very tired and eager to go home. There was no I Teresa whatsoever to engage us as recurrent visitors.

We have eaten several times at the Red Lion Inn -- in the back garden during the summer and in both the dining room and the tavern at other times of year. The service has always been excellent, and the setting is delightfully charming, but we find the food itself to be a bit of a mixed bag. The soups... More

Been visiting and staying at the RLI since the 80's. Still consistent for atmosphere and food. This time was good, but can detect some staffing issues. In the past they knew the loyal return guests, now, not so much. The RLI. will always be our go to place in the Berkshires.

The Red Lion Inn is the real thing.. A classic New England Inn that will transfer you back to the 1700's with it's decor, scent and feel. The food is excellent in presentation, originality and quality. You will not be disappointed. Expect to pay a little more than your run of the mill restaurant, but it's worth the experience. The... The night we arrived in Stockbridge, I took my husband to the Inn to see how it was decorated at Christmas. The staff was very gracious in letting me show him around and they even showed the new candy rendition of the Inn that was just finished. That alone was worth the visit. We were fortunate enough to get a... More

Had lunch here a couple weeks ago. Had salmon which was very good. With 4 others who also enjoyed their meals. Have had their apple pie before and that was very good also.
