Historic Classic.

The Red Lion is a famous, historic inn and restaurant that has been around since the start of this country. Elegant, charming, picturesque. Food and service are very good, and you'll pay for it, but it is a nice treat.

We were in town for business and stopped in for lunch. The tavern was much more casual than the main dining room and the decor was quite unique, boasting charming antiques in a rustic setting. The service was friendly and efficient, but the food was nothing special at all. The only part of the entire lunch experience which set this... More

My wife and I stopped by for a late lunch yesterday on a day trip to the Berkshires for shopping at the Lee Outlets. We enjoy dining here and are never disappointed. The dining room has a quaint elegance to it. It is a perfect spot for refined quiet dining in an old fashioned setting. Service is always friendly and... More

Breakfast in the Inn was wonderful. The service was just right; not too intrusive but there when needed. Our group of four tried wonderful pancakes and omelets and the fantastic maple sausages. The corned beef hash was more of a shredded corn beef instead of being a true hash, which was slightly disappointing. All in all a fair price for... More

The Red Lion Inn was an unexpected and wonderful diversion on our long drive from northern Vermont back to Hartford, Connecticut. It's so elegant and charming, and on a cold, snowy winter's evening I could not have found anywhere cosier in which to enjoy a delicious meal. I enjoyed the Prime Rib, served with garlic potatoes and green beans, and... More

We have eaten at least one dinner and all of our breakfasts in the Main Dining Room at the Red Lion Inn during all of our weekend visits here over the years and I have to say, this is one special place! Every meal is a special occasion! We usually stay at the Red Lion Inn with a "Getaway package",... More

It is always nice to arrive at a hotel later afternoon and not have to leave it for dinner. White table cloths, candles or table lamps, good food and service make your evening an enjoyable experience.

I do not know what the Berkshires would be like without this beautiful Inn, Dining Room, Tavern, and the small club/bistro with live entertainment. I have lived in Stockbridge so I am familiar with all aspects of the Red Lion. As a visitor to the area, you will never be disappointed with a meal and a visit here. Just do... More

Our server seemed very tired and eager to go home. There was no I Teresa whatsoever to engage us as recurrent visitors.
