We ate here about 5 months ago and were disappointed. We've had much better Chinese food elsewhere. Wouldn't go there again. Service was very good, but the food wasn't worth the money.

Regrettably, Chef Sau has definitely gone downhill since our last visit. We stopped in to place a large take-out order to bring home for company; we waited about 15 minutes. We ordered chicken fingers (extremely greasy), crab Rangoon (very good), pork fried rice (greasy and the pork pieces in the rice were so tough that they were inedible), chicken lo... More

Chef Sau is my favorite Chinese restaurant. The food is fresh & authentic and the mai tais are excellent. The owner Mike is very accomodating & friendly. The wait staff are also great, Andrea is the best! Overall, it's a nice & relaxing atmosphere with friendly staff and fantastic food & drinks.

We have been patrons for many years. Talking about lunch for today: The lunch menu is strait-forward, and value priced, but ask for any "special of the day" that may not be on the menu. Often you will get a pleasingly different appetizer or selection that is not usually available. A very good range of specialty Scotch whisky's are available,... More

I used to go to Chef Sau for dinner, but the food quality has taken a dive bomb over that last year or so and every time we "try" it again, we wish we didn't. Don't waste your money here, you and you're stomach will end up regretting it. Besides the crappy food, the owners and staff are not professional.... More

Clean, laid back atmosphere and decor with sports memorabilia on the walls with two large-screen tvs. Excellent, non-greasy food. Will definitely return to sample other dishes offered.

It was our first time to visit this restaurant. It was easy to find, we had lunch, and were surprised with the very tasty and authentic chinese food. There wwere (3) of us dining and we ordered soup and 3 different dishes. It was delicious. The portions were very generous and the ambience was very nice, the waite staff was... More

I have been going here regularly since it opened in 1989 I believe. It has always been very good to excellent, and is quite simply the best at combining value and quality of any restaurant I know of in the local area (from Spencer in the East to Ware in the east, to Barre in the north). Much better than... More
