Nice Chow for Area

I tend to head here around every 3 weeks and pretty much stick to my reliables. The pastas, the pizzas, the polpette, the buffalo mozz, steak special when its a preparation to my liking. I've found if I stray it's a little hit or miss. The chicken for example, can be very good, or thin and... read more

Over the past few years we have visited Tomasso a few times and have enjoyed it enough to return. We live in the next town over, so it makes for a great weekday evening out. We went on a Wednesday night and the restaurant was about 1/2 full. We were seated right away at a small (too small) table against... More

We are qualified critics, my g/f and I. We know quality food, and she knows the restaurant business. Tomasso's was perfect. We were waited on by five different people, including a main server. Everyone was keen on making our experience pleasant. 'No problem to sample a few wines before purchasing a bottle. All staff were very polite and accommodating. Fresh... More

We haven't stopped at Tomasso for a couple of years. We went on a Saturday evening t about 6:30 pm We found seats at the bar and ordered. The bar tender was attentive and personable without being intrusive..I ordered the house wine which was a lovely trebbianno, a steal at $6 a glass. My husband had the veal ala bruchetta... More

Excellent dinner at Tomasso's. Shared a proscuitto pizza as an app... perfectly done. Then the excellent NY Strip steak, the steak for the night, served with spinach and new potatoes. Wine by the glass was a perfect accompaniment.

This used to be one of my absolute favorite places in the states back in the 2007 - 2009 time frame when the very talented executive chef, Justin Malnick was at the helm. Then an exceptional creative presentation of authentic northern Italian cuisine that always delighted. It was such a fun and interesting place with great wine and grappa tastings.... More

Went here for lunch and loved the pasta dish I had (Tagliolini al Pesto Rosso). My companion had the Italian “Club” panini made with roasted sliced turkey, pancetta, roasted tomatoes, pesto rosso. The panini came with a nice arugula salad. The bread was warm and delicious. Service was attentive and friendly. This is a beautifully appointed restaurant and we plan... More

Enjoyed lunch at this nice dining spot (surprisingly located in a strip mall on Rt. 9.) The interior is comfortable, not sophisticated. There is a bar/lounge area on one side of the restaurant and the dining room-featuring an "open kitchen" area-is on the other side. The food is fresh and I believe they use local farm ingredients when available. The... More

We drove down to route 9 with such high hopes. This was a farm to table operation and it was going to be our discovery. Some discovery. I guess we'll just be happy with OG (the chain). What went wrong? The red wine at $14 a glass was OK but that's what I expect in the house red. For $14... More

Glad to see Tomasso back on track after my last meal which wasn't up to what I expect here. Excellent Burrata and Polpette (meat balls) to start. Pizza with prosciutto was very good as were the Penne with Vodka sauce and the gnocchi. Excellent service.
