In general, my husband and I had a very good experience at Tomasso's. It's easy to find, and parking is plentiful. The food is good, but not fantastic, but the service is spectacular. Our waiter suggested that we engage in all five courses, but split everything, which was a wonderful way to insure variation, while not over eating.

Very loud last night... hard surfaces make it very loud when its busy. The food was right on target... the steak served with excellent potatoes and green been salad... and the gnocchi were standouts. OK wine list, bit pricey. Good, friendly service.

We were in Framingham last weekend for a football game, and stayed at the Sheraton. We asked for recommendations, and this was on the list of "where to go for great Italian". My husband and I and two friends went on Friday night around 8:30. Right away we loved the atmosphere, and we got a table close to where the... More

Food was not great--especially considering the price; we found ourselves wishing we had gone to a Papa Gino's or something instead!! Nice upscale atmosphere, probably a good place to bring a date or a business client....if the food was better. Service was good, but honestly, none in our party really cared for the food at all, so we will not... More

Another lunch business meeting - and the atmosphere for this is good. The service was too slow - same as last time, so no change there. The food on the otherhand left many of us wanting to go somewhere else for a 2nd lunch. The bolognese had no flavor - we had to ask for crushed pepper just to make... More

Went with a colleague. Great food, service and ambience. Certainly going there next time. The special - warm beet soup, pan roasted duck and the grilled watermelon salad is NOT to be missed. Give a 5 star to the dessert as well.

My last meal here was not so hot... lackluster service just going through the motions and poor execution on the plate. Not characteristic of what I usually find here. Will take a breather here and keep a watchful eye... at this price point not worth it when things aren't right.

We planned this dinner for a long time and all six of us were very much looking forward to it ! We did not see each other for the whole year! The service was very friendly and attentive. The menu was somewhat limited, may be we should take a hint from "trattoria" in the name! we shared three appetizers, had... More

I wish there was a 3.5 rating because this restaurant would get a 4 star review for food and 3 star review for service. I've been here twice, most recently in May 2014. Both times I've ordered the same bolognese pasta dish and it was very good. I would go back again. The service wasn't terrible but not the best... More

Several of us attending a conference in Framingham decided to go out to dinner. The concierge at the hotel recommended Tomasso Trattoria so we headed out. We were seated quickly and offered water and bread. The bread was bland. The waitress was very friendly and explained the menu and specials. The service was good. Two of us had salads that... More
