Food was not great--especially considering the price; we found ourselves wishing we had gone to a Papa Gino's or something instead!! Nice upscale atmosphere, probably a good place to bring a date or a business client....if the food was better. Service was good, but honestly, none in our party really cared for the food at all, so we will not... More

Another lunch business meeting - and the atmosphere for this is good. The service was too slow - same as last time, so no change there. The food on the otherhand left many of us wanting to go somewhere else for a 2nd lunch. The bolognese had no flavor - we had to ask for crushed pepper just to make... More

Went with a colleague. Great food, service and ambience. Certainly going there next time. The special - warm beet soup, pan roasted duck and the grilled watermelon salad is NOT to be missed. Give a 5 star to the dessert as well.

My last meal here was not so hot... lackluster service just going through the motions and poor execution on the plate. Not characteristic of what I usually find here. Will take a breather here and keep a watchful eye... at this price point not worth it when things aren't right.

We planned this dinner for a long time and all six of us were very much looking forward to it ! We did not see each other for the whole year! The service was very friendly and attentive. The menu was somewhat limited, may be we should take a hint from "trattoria" in the name! we shared three appetizers, had... More

I wish there was a 3.5 rating because this restaurant would get a 4 star review for food and 3 star review for service. I've been here twice, most recently in May 2014. Both times I've ordered the same bolognese pasta dish and it was very good. I would go back again. The service wasn't terrible but not the best... More

Several of us attending a conference in Framingham decided to go out to dinner. The concierge at the hotel recommended Tomasso Trattoria so we headed out. We were seated quickly and offered water and bread. The bread was bland. The waitress was very friendly and explained the menu and specials. The service was good. Two of us had salads that... More

We have been going to Tomasso for years and it usually doesn't disappoint. We were there last for Mothers Day, and that could be part of the reason for the less than stellar food. Two of us had the Tagliatelle Bolognese. Way too much sauce on the pasta. The dish was uneven and less than satisfying. The ravioli was better,... More

The service was fine, the salad tasty but the entree was less than expected. When I get a scallop dish that only includes 3 scallops as a meal, no matter how good, that is not acceptable.

Its been more than a year since we were at Tomasso's, but we have found it to be very uneven. Sometimes the food is good and the service is good, other times it is a big disappointment (more often than not). I've stopped going.
