Not worth it, pack a picnic instead

The scallops were great, lightly coated and fried to perfection, as advertised. The scampi was blah. Salad was good, some wilted lettuce but great dressing. Clam chowder had only a few bits of clam and an odd herb flavor. Our waitress, Jean M worked hard! And the female runner did too. They... read more

The food is like Opa-Opa's beer, its about average, the service is decent, the food is ok but overpriced (check their website for their daily specials and go on the days that suit you best, like Tuesday when the whole menu is 50% off with purchase of a drink). I'm not a huge fan of their beer, the steaks are... More

We had heard about this place for several years, but we found it to be a bit disappointing after the mediocre food we got there this month. The scallops were just so-so. The lobster mac and cheese was an enormous portion of mac and cheese -- more than the average person could possibly eat in one meal -- with a... More

Average food, So-So service, and somewhat overpriced.... unless you go on a groupon or half price special day..... otherwise, not a great value, and not great food.

Wanted to get a bite and drink on a slow and lazy work day so here is where we went. The lunch specials are a great deal! We wanted to sit outside and were seated and kind of forgotten. :-( another couple was seated and the host was surprised we were still waiting for waitstaff. Oh well, the beer was... More

I had heard that Opa Opa was really good. I took my daughter there. I ordered prime rib and she ordered a rib eye. We both ordered medium rare. Both items came well done (not a trace of pink) and had to be sent back. The medium rare prime rib was still overcooked and was anything, but "prime". It was... More

We've been here about 5 times or so. Sometimes it's great, other times it's terrible. I've had great steaks and fatty grisly steaks. The last time we went the cajun steak sandwich was so bad I spent most of my meal with my fingers in my mouth pulling out fat and gristle. Very disappointed! We had a groupon and I... More

Stopped here for fathers day. They were running a buffet or you could order off the menu. The place was fairly busy. Ordered the some appetizers and the price e rib. My wife ordered a rack of ribs. We waited a while for drinks and then longer for our appetizer. The appetizer and beer were tasty. I wish I could... More

I've eaten here before and it was ok, but today... Not so good. I was in on a Wednesday and I saw the specials. They seemed like a decent deal. I ordered the hamburger ($4.99) plus the required beverage (tea $2.75). Pretty reasonable, BUT that's where the specialness ended. The burger was small (I expected that) but it was dry... More

On Monday and Wednesday they run a special, for $5 you get a 5.3 oz burger, with cheese, tomato, lettuce and onion, cooked perfect. French fries also come with the meal. The chef delivered the plates to us, the burger was cooked perfect, just ever a slight charred flavor, very slight. Fries were real hot like they are suppose to... More
