We went to Doyle's on a whim. We were looking for a place to have dinner and many cars were parked outside (which made us think it would be a great place). Inside, half of the restaurant had tables and the other half was a saloon. It was dark and dingy. We decided to stay and try it since there... More

Simple, loud, and painful. Owner/ cook hangs around bar, and obnoxiously bellows out jurisdiction. Atmosphere is harried and hassled. Food is unpredictable, but the effort is there. Crowd is local. Rather a sad spot.

Not a big fan. Food is okay.. More of a bar atmosphere. Rowdy crowd. Place needs a good scrubbing. Seems like a local joint..

This restaurant has many specials thruout the day. The normal prices are very reasonable, and they have good portions. They have a smoking area, for people that do smoke. This area doesn't interfere with the rest of the restaurant.

Didn't order any food but was looking for, and found, a nice welcoming local joint just down the street from my hotel (Clarion Inn). As with most pseudo-Irish pubs the barkeep (Janelle) was friendly, the beer cold and the patrons engaged in the latest on their sports teams (Sawx in this case since it was mid-summer). Good conversation with the... More

Once is not enough to go to this user friendly Cape Cod eatery. Great menu, solid drinks, lovely staff,Keno machine, amazing weekday prices and probably the best shrimp cocktail on the Cape. The "chowdah" is rich and creamy and full of clams, the seafood (fried or broiled) is fresh and the servings are generous.Right near the Bass River Bridge in South Yarmouth on RT.28.
