Many years ago this was the finest restaurant on the Cape. It coasted on that rep too long, went through a decade or more of poorer quality, but the last 3-4 years, quite a turnaround! Meals have been excellent, service great, and a better variety of good value meals. Earned their re-entry into our faves on the Cape!

Great menu selection; fast and courteous service. Ambiance is very pleasant. Dress is mostly summer casual.

We had dinner in the Riverway Lobster House and liked it very much. Broad choice of seafood and other dishes. No difficulties to find something for everyone. Friendly staff and good service - perhaps a bit slow but vey friendly. The (lazy) lobster was heavy but good and so was the lobster and crab chowder.

We had a great meal at this restaurant. The staff was very friendly and we showed up 1/2 hour before close. The food was a bit pricey but you got a tons of food. The lobster crab chowder was awesome! The lobster mac and cheese was loaded with lobster meat. There was also a piano player, playing and singing all... More

We have gone there for their Sunday brunch many times. Their food is really good. In understand that now offer chicken pot pies to go or something along those lines. I want to give them a try.

We're visiting the cape for the weekend and was recommended to come here for dinner. Read reviews and they looked good for the most part. The restaurant itself was fine, the service was great, but the food was terrible. I ordered the steamers and a salad for my meal. The steamers come in this red netting. I've had steamers before... The Riverway on the banks of the Bass River in Yarmouth is one of those consistently good restaurants that people often pass by. You shouldn't. The Riverway always has a wealth of good meals with specials that satisfy everybody. Like lobster, you've got it. Like scallops, check. Like chicken, made every which way. Like beef, plenty to choose from. The... More

Reviews led us to try this restaurant and we were not disappointed. We shared a seafood sampler hot appetizer and both had the baked seafood sampler entree. Portions were good and the food was fresh and delicious. I enjoyed their house twice-mashed potatoes and butternut squash as a vegetable option. Service was good and the atmosphere was relaxing.
