Once again, our last minute dinner plans brought us to The Highland Kitchen and once again we were not disappointed! We've always been impressed with the service and food, not to mention they carry my favorite cider Bantam!

We've been there several times and always get something different. Seafood to lamb to po'boys...they are all really good. Amazing how even our grandchildren will try different foods. Some what noisy and difficult to hear a conversation, but go early, have a drink and you won't care. Looking forward to coming back for more

Pub food with a raw bar, goat stew, fried clams and Texas chili (sort of). A late night walk-in spot, we waited about 15 minutes for 4 of us at 8p. At first we were disappointed because we were told the special fried clam appetizer was sold out. Fortunately, when it was time to order, I was persistent and they... More

Feels like a pub, lots of wood, big bar, noisy, loud music, hard to hear conversations. Service was flawless and friendly. I asked for a very cold, very dry martini and it arrived warm and not dry. I had to add ice. Appetizers were good, but all fried. Both pasta dishes were excellent. Lots of fried food on the menu,... More

This is a wonderful place to go out, enjoy a meal and have a great time. The food was fresh, well crafted and inexpensive relative to the area.

My wife had two nice oysters accompanied by a periodista cocktail. Her main was the Quack & Cheese--duck confit with tasso ham, orrechiette, asparagus, & smoked Gouda bechamel. Delicious and enough to take home a portion. I had the spicy Texas-style chili with sour cream, jack cheese, and scallions with a hunk of cornbread. A cup will do for an... More

I'm not a big fan of goat but my husband ordered it and I have to say it was pretty darn good. I liked the buffalo brussel sprouts and mark and stormy was perfect (It's strong) You have to go early, the line started at 445 for a 5 opening. We went with friends that have been there before and... More

This place has a different selection of food and all that we had was excellent. Veal on polenta, goat stew, Cuban reuben, jambalaya - that's a wide selection and it was all delicious (if you ask to remove the shrimp from the jambalaya - ask for more chicken). And you MUST start with the buffalo brussel sprouts. They had a... More
