We sat outside at a very wobbly table, that we propped up with a menu under the leg. I ordered a BLT. DRY as the Sahara desert. No mayo, just dry toast with a pile of bacon and a tomato and lettuce, Really? Inside was SO noisy............. they need noise reduction panels or something. No going back. Sorry.............

This is a fun little place in Davis Square. It has limited outdoor seating which we took advantage of. The food was typical pub fare, but the experience was enhanced by the live music emanating from inside. It's a cute place to stop for a beer and sandwich if you're in the area.

My husband loved the hot wings, but my pesto seafood pasta plate was bland. We both ended up eating his dinner. Very convenient location to Davis Square in Somerville and close to subway stop. Live music nightly, this is a fun and charming Irish pub.

Great bar! Host a 5k fun for runners/joggers/walkers of all ages with Guinness beef stew afterwards for all par takers. See you every Monday, I've been going there since 2007. As for the bar it self, friendly staff and great irish music and cover bands too. Only bar in Davis where you can have a conversation and not half to... More

The live music is great and there’s always live music going on. The food is cheap, really cheap. It’s bar food but the the burgers are good. I thought they’d have a better beer selection, but its really pretty standard mainstream selection. I was stoked to find live Bluegrass, will definitely stop back.

Until recently (2/20/14) I haven't been to The Burren in quite a few years and while I remembered having a decent time there, I didn't remember quite how much I liked the place.. First off this place is close to the T. in Davis Square so if you're just going there for some beers and music there are tons of... More

I find more often than not, if I'm headed somewhere in Davis we wind up at The Burren for dinner. That's because it is basic good Irish food. I'm never disappointed and the meals are quick. We always find friends there and it is always fun.

A group of us dropped in for a lunch. It was so much fun. Small wooden booths in the bar area. Irish musicians playing in the corner. Nice beer selection and great food. It looks like it would be a great place to come later in the evening. I had a steak and cheese and my husband had fish and... More

good food, fabulous Celtic music and friendly, friendly staff. We have never been disappointed when we visit. Love the impromptu music that happens in the front room.

There are a zillion Irish pubs in greater Boston, but the Burren really is one of the best. The food is better than average pub food, the Guinness is delicious, and it's always bustling with fun people and frequent live music. Plus, it's huge! Just walk toward the back and you'll be amazed at how far back it goes. This... More
