Had dinner here after the Fluff Festival. Put our name in, planning on using the gift card won at the festival that night as we don't get to Somerville often. The place was packed and we missed our time by a few minutes and they had to give the table up. They felt really bad about it and seated us... More

We ate at many restaurants in and around Boston, but this one was by far the best. We had the steak tips (wow.. just wow.) and the lobster raviolis. Both plates were fantactic. HIGHLY recommend you go there to eat and have a craft beer on tap!

We were here with our colleagues, and had a great time. Post late evening, they play DJ music as well. It was a great evening spent.

We were in the area, and decided to walk over for an early dinner... I was a little worried because we had a party of 8 (and folks were starving), but we were able to get seated quickly. What a great place for some beers and tasty pub fare! The calamari, beet salad, mac and cheese with bacon and broccoli... More

A group of us went in here for late lunch/early dinner. My husband and I got the chicken sandwich and a grilled cheese. This was a great pub meal, comfort food. They had an amazing beer selection but our server knew nothing about them. We asked for a suggestion and you could tell he had never tried any of it... More

This is a great spot for a casual dinner with friends. Dine inside or out and relax as you select from a number of good items on their menu. Also great beer, and wine are offered.

Somerville friends took me here for dinner. Menu was interesting. I ordered the fried chicken--greens--mac 'n cheese plate to see how this Yankee restaurant would do soul food. Chicken well fried, mac 'n cheese too yummy, greens -- couldn't they have used southern greens instead of spinach? But overall, very satisfying. The dark interior made for a restful feeling on... I love the atmosphere of the Independent. It is dark and yet has a ton of windows, so depending upon what time of day you are here, the vibe totally changes and it is awesome. I love coming here for dinner and drinks but my honest favorite is Sunday brunch. They have such a great selection of egg dishes, non-meat... More

The atmosphere of this restaurant is very cool, great place to watch a game and have a quick bite. My only precaution is the portions of the meals my bf and I ordered were HUGE so go hungry!

I come to "The Indo" at least once a month, and this is my preferred place in Somerville. The beer selection is incredible with a few changing taps, and the service is superb - I usually ask the bartender to choose a brew for me! The menu is not very varied but everything I've tried has been extremely good! The... More
