Went here with a friend for dinner on a Sunday evening. The smells were super as we went in the door. Cooks were hustling at the back. The server, Rebecca, was knowledgeable and friendly. We had a pulled pork platter and combo platter. They were served with sauce, if wanted, on the tables. I prefer it that way. The pork... More

We stopped in for lunch on a Saturday. The fried pickles and jalapeños with tartar sauce were quite delicious. I had the BBQ hash plate with greens and mac and cheese, my boyfriend had the Jamaican beef sandwich plate. The portion sizes are gigantic- you definitely don't need to worry about leaving hungry. The meats and sides were decent but... More

This is a very unique place to have a meal. Drinks are served in jelly glasses with handles. the place is always crowded and very noisy. The food is mostly good, wholesome food. Conversation has to be kept at a minimum due to noise.

We had wonderful sandwiches for lunch but the potato salad and cole slaw that came with lunch were terrible. The potato salad appeared to be a smashed potato with no dressing, no spices. Cole slaw had little dressing - a watery liquid was in the bottom of the plate. Both salad and slaw were absolutely tasteless with no flavor. Would... More

Just what you would exspect from a "real bbq place"... nothing fancy just good food... the ribs and sauce is great, it gets very busy so if go, go early and you won't regret it.

Redbones really strives to reverse the notion that Northern barbeque fails to live up to Southern standards, and makes a good attempt, even if falling a bit short of its goal. Where the restaurant really nails it is atmosphere; sweet tea in mason jars, comfortable seating, country music wafting quietly from its speakers, all bring in the "BBQ Charm" I... More

Redbones is not the place to go if you're looking to eat a light salad. If you are looking to indulge in delicious comfort food in a super casual setting, this is the place to go. The restaurant is right in Davis Square which is very convenient to the T. The service was really good and the food came out... More

Lots of hype about this place, but I didn't find anything special about it. Yes, it's been around for awhile, but you can find better BBQ and ribs elsewhere for comparable or lower price.

A nice attempt by northerners to make barbecue; problem is it doesn't quite hack it. The ribs are burnt and the pulled pork is dry. The highlight is the pulled beef - nice. Go here in a pinch or if you are already drunk.

The ribs here are great and a variety of microbrewery beverages available too. The cornbread is delicious.
