This barbecue will not disappoint. Ribs are amazing. Pulled pork super tasty and the Mac n cheese is gooey heaven. A must go to if you're in the area.

Solid bbq place with great food, a rotating selection of awesome local beers, and friendly and casual service. They don't take reservations and the place can get crowded, especially on weekends, but Underbones, the bar in the basement, is a great place to kill time and grab a drink as you wait for a table.

Get here early or be prepared to wait cause this place draws a crowd. Redbones is awesome. The food is great, atmosphere is always abuzz, and the service is great. This is our third time here and we always try something new. This time we had St. Louis ribs and the jerk beef; both were great. Jerk beef was pretty... More

I've only tried a few dishes. Taste wasn't bad but wasn't Southern - and I'm from the DEEP South. I think they keep dishes mild in order to satisfy their northeastern guests. The food may be good but every time I go the place is so packed it's hard to get service immediately and the food takes a little while.

Nice cozy comfy food. Our daughter lives near by and is a restaurant she always advises friends to go. Very good service. We will return. Seats are not very comfortable

I overheard someone say this was the go to place in Boston for BBQ. I am frequently in Boston so I checked it out. The pulled pork is delicious. The side dishes are my favorite part of BBQ restaurants. The collard greens are the best I've ever had. The corn bread is good too. The dessert looks fabulous but both... More

Moving to the Boston area from the southwestern US nine years ago (at the time of this writing) came with some sacrifices. One of those sacrifices was a disappointing lack of Mexican and Bar-BQ restaurants of any substantial quality - until I had Redbones. I love a good Bar-BQ dinner and as the title here suggests, if you have only... More

Once upon a time Redbones was more than a restaurant, it was an experience in BBQ. The location could easily have been in Memphis. The food was that good. Redbones recently was sold and the new owners just don't get it. I ordered an old fav of mine, the sausage appetizer, and what showed up was a small plate with... More

My wife and I were visiting my daughter at college. She was craving BBQ. We had high hopes from ratings. It is very pricey. Me and my daughter got pulled pork sandwiches, my wife got a pulled chicken sandwich. Real pulled pork BBQ does not come with sauce mixed in. Customer is suppose to put on the kind of sauce... More
