I expected more from this place. It is a bit too much "western saloon" for me. But it may be Ok for students.

Every chance we get, we try barbecue. We love taking friends here for giant portions of satisfying BBQ, hush puppies, and for the casual atmosphere. The upstairs looks very much like any simple barbecue joint in North Carolina or Virginia, and the food is delicious. You'll certainly order too much. The downstairs is a little funky-looking - dark, low ceilings,... More

This used to a great neighborhood place to satisfy a BBQ craving about 7 years ago, but after changing ownership once or twice it's just become mediocre, at best. The ambiance is fun at first, especially drinking out of those Ball manson jars, but the novelty wears off rather quickly. Most of the meat dishes I've had tend to be... More

I have never eaten at the actual Redbones restruant but I hear only great things. I have gotten takeout from them several times and it has always been wonderful! Their prices are very reasonable and they have some interesting menu items, the buffalo scallops are my favorite!

When I lived in Boston, I used to go to Redbones all the time. Love it there! Great beer selection. Always a couple of cask beers and a ton of draft beers. Always a great place for a snack and a beer after work.

Redbones has been our go to place for BBQ for years. It's usually crowded and loud but the service is good and we have never felt rushed. On our last visit we noticed a difference in prices as well as portions. My husband's $24 rib combo plate was a bit pricey and the portion size was definitely smaller. My pulled... More

Since we arrived in US I was willing to eat some ribs and this restaurant have some pretty good. The plate, with some side (we choose vegetables) is enouugh for two. Is really juice and succulent. To complete, they have a very good list of american beers. Me and my husband certainly will be back.

After reading many glowing reviews, we headed to Redbones for a great BBQ experience. The atmosphere was lively with a mixed audience and everything seemed very promising. The service was ok. My husband was craving a BBQ brisket sandwich and was disappointed to find it a bit dry. My catfish was over cooked, more fried batter than fish, the buns... More

I used to go to this place when still in college and now I took my son who just graduated. The food is superb. The barbecue is succulent and the ice tea and lemonade in jars are just a perfect accompaniment. The fried pickles to start with are an amazing must. The price is very reasonable and a full bar... Redbones is a neighborhood place for us, but others come from miles around--with good reason. The barbecue is tasty, service is good, and the beer selection is big. Baby back and St. Louis ribs are both excellent, and their grilled fish and fried catfish are excellent choices for those who aren't red meat eaters. Additional note on customer service: We... More
