The ribs here are great and a variety of microbrewery beverages available too. The cornbread is delicious.

This is our favorite go to place for take out BBQ. Pork and beef ribs are awesome. Mostly get take out - not a big fan of the noise in the restaurant and usually very crowded.

Living just down the street, we regularly go to share a plate of ribs and beer. It's noisy and packed with students.

I'm originally from Alabama, so I thought finding good BBQ in the area would be difficult - not here. It's your typical BBQ joint, nothig fancy but great quality food. From the pulled pork to the brisket, including the sides, tasted like homegrown. Can be really crowded on weekends, but wait is usually not that long. Highly recommend if you're... More

I'm from the south, live in Somerville, and on occasion come here for BBQ. It's not the best BBQ by a long shot and it is very overpriced. The atmosphere is hipster cool enough though and they have a great beer selection on tap. Service ranges from very bad to average although I had a bartender here once who was... More

Its exactly what you would expect in a good way, meat, popular, noisy, crowded but good food & a wide selection of craft beers. If you are not into all this...then dont go as its in a Genre of its own.

Some of the BEST BBQ in area. A bit of a wait - of course - it's awesome food! Told 30 min - was more like 10 min! Place was packed! Very accommodating - table for 4 is easily converted to a table for 5. Parking is tough - completely worth the circling. Beer offerings is extensive! Ribs, pulled pork,... More

As a former Somerville resident I used to love the accessibility to Redbones and it's BBQ, be prepared to wait to be seated. The restaurant is usually always packed, since it seems to be a tourist spot for Tufts students and their parents or the ever growing gentrifying population. Seating can be tight, Underbones (lower bar) can be stuffy. If... More

Redbones has decent bbq and a great beer list. I would go 3.5 rating if they offered it but not 4. The ribs are my favorite thing on the menu.
