Great late nite dinner

This place was just okay. Tried the mac and cheese, brisket, and sausage. The food could have been warmer when we got it, and the brisket was bit dry.

We love Redbones... I have been going for over two decades. But this was not a banner performance. There was some mishap in the kitchen and it took a very long time to get our meals. This was true at other tables as well. The food was good as always... although the brisket could have been cut a little smaller.... More

Liked the Hash. Family had baby back ribs and St. Louis ribs. Coming from Chicago with rib places everywhere, I thought the prices were high, but it looked like a fun ,local spot!

Redbones is a hippie quaint authentic southern fried delight! On a recent Friday evening, we were seated in less than 3 minutes. But: you could wait one hour or more to enjoy this Somerville treat on any given weekend night. Call ahead to RSVP. Try one of the authentic southern appetizers to start your meal: the fried okra is awesome!... More

Redbones has been around quite a while and has a great rep for down home cooked BBQ and good sides, great throw back atmosphere etc. They never disappoint and if the Pulled Pork is a little dryer than you like, toss some great sauce on it!

Visited Redbones BBQ on a Saturday evening. Waited about 30-minutes in bar to be seated. Wide and interesting selection of draft beers. I had the pulled pork entrée that was average (bland, lacked kick). On the other hand, my wife ordered the St. Louis Ribs that were very tasty. Service both in the bar and the restaurant area was fast... More

I have only had authentic Southern BBQ a handful of times when I was in the south, but this place was great. Very no frills, great for families & pretty casual. The beer list was surprisingly good & I got to have all my favorite comfort foods! I would totally recommend the corn fritters in maple syrup...such an odd combination... More

Redbones has gone way down hill. So sad. We've given it 2 more chances than we should have, remembering how wonderful it used to be. Tonight, our 2 dinners were virtually tasteless. Salmon was awful, garlic mashed potatoes had no garlic and no taste, steak tips grisly and inedible. With this food, not that you'd want more but the portions... More
