Morning Breakfast

Family visit to Boston, so had to try the cream of wheat, seven of us enjoyed it. Nice friendly family atmosphere, Big hearty American breakfast. Only problem is they have not mastered a good cup of tea!

Stopped in here for breakfast - unprepossessing looking place. Was very pleasantly surprised to find really good breakfast place. The food was really good and plentiful - the waitress was funny and sassy and quick. Great place.

Good food. Large portions. Friendly service. A down home place for a decent, low cost breakfast. Their baked apples are a treat. Their coffee has room for improvement, but I doubt anyone is going to this place primarily for the coffee.

Stellar food, reasonable prices, wonderful dining atmosphere. If there's a wait, they usually provide snacks (fresh muffins or pastries) to those in line.

Tea and Coffee were served promptly on arrival, along with a glass of orange juice. Then we all ordered the cream of wheat which was fantastic. I wasn't feeling overly hungry and I was starting to realise how large the portion sizes in America were! I ordered just one blueberry pancake with some fresh fruit and it was lovely. The... More

Love this place! Cream of wheat and banana nut pancakes are the best! Service is excellent! Waitress was right there to fill your coffee cup!

Glad we got there early as there was a queue when we left - always a good sign. Great breakfast, being from the UK, creamed wheat to start was an experience, good though. Pancakes, omelettes, waffles everything was served quickly and nice and fresh. Only thing i wouldn't advise you to order is the tea, mor elie dish water ;-)... More

This is the proverbial hole-in-the-wall with exceptional food and service. There isn't much parking available, but enough so that you can usually get a spot if you go early, especially on weekends. Everything they make is homemade and fresh. It's small but with ample seating. They make good use of their space. It's one of my favorite places to get... More

We ate here for breakfast one morning while we were on vacation and were seated outside under their beautiful grape vine canopy. The breakfast was like you would prepare at home on a Sunday morning – eggs, homefries, sausage or bacon, coffee and breads, but…the most delicious and memorable food they served was the bowl of Cream of Wheat –...
