Best brunch I've had in the Cambridge area yet! Not the most convenient location unless you live in the neighborhood, but the food is SO GOOD. Comes with a large portion of food and I ordered chocolate chip pancakes with strawberries - DELICIOUS!

This by far the best breakfast in the Boston area. During the winter it serves indoors with small tables. But during the warmer months they have an outdoor area with picnic tables under grape vines. You have to try anything with Lingucia! Also bring cash to pay as they do not take any credit cards. Also expect to wait on... More

If you like breakfast and a lot of food this is the place for you. It is sort of a hidden treasure. You have to try the cream of wheat there is nothing in the world like it. Plenty of food and plenty to choose from. If you are in the neighborhood be sure to stop in you won't regret... More

The quality of food here and quantity is pretty decent. I would say for what is around locally and the atmosphere in the restaurant you can absolutely get the same quality of food for about thRee dollars cheaper a plate and with much updated Ambiance!

This place makes you feel like home. This was our first visit and there was a wait when we arrived on Sunday morning. I usually don't like waiting but the line moved quickly and they offered everyone free coffee and sweet bread while they stood about. It didn't take long for our party of 3 to be seated and the... I have been here a couple times and only once got in without a wait. This is a very popular place. You get a lot of food for a very reasonable price. The tables are very close together inside, and the bathroom is downstairs with a low sloping ceiling. I like breakfast here the best, in the outdoor area. I... More

The Neighborhood Restaurant is definitely worth seeking out, but be sure that you have plenty of appetite. We each had the Portuguese breakfast, and thoroughly enjoyed most of it--the eggs, linguica, codfish cake, shrimp cake, meat cake, and potatoes with sweet peppers, although the blood sausage wasn't really to our taste. Service was prompt and friendly. The tables are quite... More

I love the Neighborhood. It's one of those local secrets that is no longer a secret, and so there is always a long wait. Still, the staff are gracious and provide coffee and muffins for people waiting. As you have probably already heard, their cream of wheat (served free with every order) is magical. It tastes like joy and sunshine.... More

I used to go here often when I lived in the area (I am now 3 hours away), we visited this weekend and stopped in for breakfast - still unbelievable! All breakfasts come with a choice of Cream of Wheat or fruit. Get the Cream of Wheat. Even if you think you don't like Cream of Wheat, get the Cream... More

Came here on a Saturday around noon. There were maybe twenty parties ahead of us on the sign in sheet. A pot of coffee and a plate of cookies on a table for all those waiting to dine. It was cold outside, very windy. After twenty minutes of waiting I thought my friend would suggest we go elsewhere, but he... More
