Good breakfast

This place has a very extensive menu -- omelets, Benedicts, pancakes, French toast -- as well as daily specials and house specialties (try the delicious Moroccan eggs if you like cumin!). The Greek yogurt pancakes were tasty and light, topped with fresh berries and what looked like whipped cream but was actually excellent whipped Greek yogurt. The eggs Benedict were... More

I don't want to sound nasty but the food was only ok. It also took a while to come out yet there were only four people in the place including ourselves. This was at about 11am on a weekday morning. The decor could do with being freshened up a little too. The staff were very friendly and lovely to chat... More

Great informal, noisy, busy place for good hearty breakfast or brunch. There was a line to get in but it moved fast. Try the Moroccan eggs or corned beef hash.

The pumpkin pancakes are awesome. Unlike many places, they are actually made with real pumpkin and the taste is excellent. We also really enjoy their hash, which is flavorful from the addition of spices and of little bit onion and peber. They have a lot of different omelettes and tend to get very busy during the weekend.

Lots of different kinds of eggs benedict! Go early or you'll have to wait in line. Locals, college students and families.

We have been to SBC a couple of times, always in conjunction with Parents' Weekend at Tufts, which coincides with the Head of the Charles boat races. So I want to mention that these folks are really good at crowd control and that if you see a line, you shouldn't despair - they're on it. Try the Broadway Bowl, a... More

Breakfast was good, but at these prices the drinks, including water, should not be self serve. Expensive for breakfast (no idea about lunch or dinner), but the service is good (for the food) and the food is decent. I've had breakfast that is just as good at half the price all over the U.S., however, including other big cities.

this is a good place to head when you want breakfast or lunch. during the week there's no lines/wait but on the wkends it's a popular spot. there's a good reason for the crowds - very tasty food.

read about this place beforehand and decided to take a visit. It was great. Food is delicious and the turkey bacon is amazing. You make your own drinks at the back of the restaurant, which is a nice touch. Only went once because my daughter preferred Thorntons on Huntington Ave but this was a lot nicer. the home fries are... I think I am biased because I LOVE Ball Square cafe next door so much, that my expectations for Sound Bites is high, but it doesn't meet the mark. The food is average, nothing spectacular. I couldn't really find anything that made this place stand out from the rest or give it a signature mark on a dish.
