I had a breakfast bowl which was very good. It is self service for coffee and drinks - you have to get what you want from the coffee bar or fridge including water ( very weird they won't get stuff for you )

SoundBites is a popular place for Sunday breakfast. I've been there for dinner, and it was fine if not thrilling. But breakfast is really good. Unfortunately, I won't go back, because I don't like being rushed out. I was actually asked to leave immediately after I finished eating. So Sunday breakfast is now at the Indepenedent for me, where the... More

There's a scarcity of proper breakfast places in the Boston area. Here, in Somerville, we're lucky to have SoundBites Café, which is one of the best places around to get a delicious and generously proportioned breakfast. I love their homefries, which are soft on the inside and crispy on the outside. Perfection! There's only one drawback to this place: it... More

This is my favorite breakfast place in the Boston area. Fresh fruit in all seasons. Great bagels, great coffee, french toast combos, tasty and large omelets (my fave is The Green with cheese). Home-fries are a garlic mashed with a toasty top. Plenty of seating and they serve lunch and dinner with a FULL BAR well stocked. I've been coming... More

I ordered fromt eh breakfast all day menu 3 egg omelet with spinach and feta served with potato and choice of toast etc. It was huge. Very large serving... More

I get the typical American styled breakfast with the home fries, nice flavor, with garlic I think. To avoid a long line, or noisy atmosphere, get here early...like before 8 AM. If you come late, it can get quite crowded and noisy.

We made a point of going to Sound Bites each time we visited our son at Tufts over the past 4 years. Always a culinary highlight. Big omelettes with variety of fillings. Great french toast or pancakes smothered in fresh or caramelized fruit. Many other delicious selections. A choice of 1/2 dozen different coffees. There is almost always a wait,... More

I prefer the pancakes at Deluxe Town Diner, but SoundBites does a decent job. The service here is excellent -- fast & friendly. I will definitely return.

This place is amazing for breakfast / brunch. I don't think I've ever not waited in line for a table but it's quick. They serve really generous portions and the atmosphere is great to just hang out with friends. I love their breakfast burritoes and broadway bowls. Their french toast is really good too, though. The fruit is always fresh... More

A friend took us here - the fresh squeezed OJ was one of our favs. Portions were generous, service friendly and all at a good price.
