Great for group night out

Love this place for a birthday night out. The back room is for bigger groups and gets enjoyably noisy and fun. The décor and atmosphere are very enjoyable. Great selection of small plates, and nice sangria.

Our misgivings began when we ordered only 4 tapas for 4 people, and not surrendering the menu (so we could order more) as the wait staff expected. We asked why there are pimientos de Padron on the menu when these are out of season, and were given an answer that suggests that the staff knows nothing about tapas and is... More

What I love about Dali is the consistency. They have been serving a "who's who" of tapas dishes for years, that come out identically every time. The small plates trend has come and gone, and while it may have merit, I like that when Dali says tapas, they mean food that you might actually encounter in a traditional joint in... More

We've been to Dali numerous times and it's simply great every time. The wait can be tough but always worth it. Hey, popular places aren't easy to get in to. Grab a drink next door and wait it out.

This is the real deal... From the moment you walk in you know it's going to be a great night. The ambiance sets the mood for a night of tapas worthy of soaking up the last trace of sauce with bread, a big plate of paella in the center of the table, and a pitcher (or two) of Sangria... The... More

It doesn’t look like much from the outside but Dali is excellent. You’ll find an well crafted spanish ambiance inside – lots of red, lots of candlelight, and small rooms that make everything feel a little more intimate. The small plates were excellent and our server was very good. Our favorite plates were the baked goat cheese with tomato and... More

Dali is a neighborhood institution. Luckily I live around the corner! Their small plates/tapas style menu makes it a great place to stop in with friends for a drink or nosh. Delightfully ornate, glittery, and fun, Dali is also awesome to take out-of-town guests for a fun night out. The staff is warm and attentive. The food, divine and diverse.... More

Our bacalao was extremely salty, much saltier than bacalao should be. Other than that, the food was average - I enjoy the tapas at Barcelona and Solea more. Points go to Dali for having more authentic food and a quirky, lively atmosphere. I wouldn't dissuade anyone from going here because I enjoyed the experience, but I'm not sure I'd go... More

Went here with friends who frequent this restaurant. My girlfriend and I were the only non-Latinos in a group of four couples. I had been a Spanish exchange student many years ago and loved the tapas concept but had never found anything that really measured up...until Dali. The sangria is a sweetly fruity and potent concoction that is delicious. We... More

Went here after finding it on Trip Advisor. It was crowded and lively and the waiters were animated. Had great fancy drinks and six tapas dishes..which were two too many foir two people. We had mostlyl vegetarian ones --cauliflower and broccoli in cheese puff pastry, spinich with raisins and nuts (really good), crepes with eggplant ragout, saffron battered fried shrimp,... More
