Vast beer selection, delicious appetizers!

I went to Five Horses Tavern for the first time with my boyfriend and another couple...we all loved it! The beer selection was awesome...many to choose from, a variety of types and price points. Our server was very attentive (albeit not overly talkative or engaging). This is a VERY busy place... read more

This is my favorite place in Davis Square. Great beer selection and delicious food. They many times have a great tater tot appetizer. The KFCGH is my favorite.

Grabbed some dinner here while visiting my friend and everything was delicious, their pretzel is a great way to start. Great draught selection and lots of tv's if you're trying to catch a game as well!

Went here a few nights ago & while the food/drinks were delicious I found an almost wishbone sized bone in the chicken on my pizza. I was able to catch it, but I could have easily choked & cracked my teeth. And it wasn't a bone in an actual chicken breast, but in a small piece of chicken on a... More

A group of us decided that we were tired of Redbones in Davis Square, and wanted a goos spot to eat before the Banff Film Festival at the Somerville Theater. The staff cheerfully made reservations for our large group, and we proceeded to eat and drink our way through the menu. The beer listing was 2 pages long, sorted by... More

Our group of five had a fabulous Sunday brunch here recently! It was so good that we definitely want to come again, and try out dinner as well. First, the table shared an order of their house made apple cinnamon donut holes, wowie, super excellent! They are clearly homemade, served warm, a thick crunchy outer layer with a super flavorful... Wonderful atmosphere for a date night or get-together with friends. Pricey, but the quality is there. The beer is delicious & we got the Mac N Cheese w/ duck confit & the French Kiss pizza to split. It was awesome. A little bit of a wait if you get there later & they waitresses certainly try to rush you out... More

Excellent and innovative menu at Five Horses definitely merits a visit. The appetizers are tapas style, with excellent veggie apps that you rarely see anywhere else. You must try the skillet cornbread - hands down the best cornbread I've ever had. It is so sweet and rich you could eat it for desert! Also would recommend the ribs (which come... More

Went to visit Tufts and stopped for dinner after the visit. What a great surprise. The vegan tasting plate was unbelievable and some of the best Mac and cheese ever. Loved it hope to get back

Went here for brunch this past weekend with family and friends and after the great experience we had, it's officially on my list of go-to restaurants. To start we ordered cornbread and were pleasantly surprised to find that it wasn't your typical boxy looking cornbread, but instead, they brought out a hot skillet filled with a golden, thin layer of piping...
