Expensive but pretty good

They drinks are very expensive, but they have quite a variety to choose from! The layout of the restaurant is a bit odd, it almost feels like it's 3 different restaurants made into one? Not sure if I'd be back

Great beer and cocktail menu, but pricey (though typical for the Cambridge-Somerville area). Even ordinary beers were $6 or more, sometimes not for a pint but for 12 ozs. We had bloody marys which were in 12 oz. glasses and heavily iced. Very disappointing. On Sundays, they offer a buffet brunch which was at a decent price of $20, but... More

I arrived about 20 minutes early for our reservation, but was seated immediately. My dinning companion arrived 20 minutes late for our reservation and the waitress was very nice and recommended dishes we could get to the table before our show. Drinks were fantastic and all the food was amazing. I always enjoy the Foundry when I am in Davis... More

We hit the Foundry right after arriving at Davis Square. The afternoon crowd was small but devoted to their drinks. So we had plenty of time to inquire about the menu. The Foundry fills up as the evening progresses with young folks spilling out onto the street, but we were there during a lull.

We were seated in high top booth in the corner of the front windows where we could people watch. We watch a band come marching down in their polka dot gear playing a variety of instruments. ( I looked it up later and it was the "School of Honk" where they parade the streets of Davis Square every Sunday between... More

I must say that this was a great choice for a multi-generational party (adults and kids). The menu had a little of everything from seafood, to burgers, to salads, plus a kids menu (which was greatly appreciated). Our meals were very good, considering the diversity of the menu! The service was good, too. We like seating in the large booth... More

Enjoyed brunch here with family and everything was top-notch. I had steak & eggs. The flat iron steak was thick and perfectly cooked, very tender and flavorful. The eggs medium were just that...not so easy for many places apparently. Potatoes could have used a little more seasoning and time on the grill but otherwise a memorable meal and we will... More

This is our favorite restaurant in the Boston area. The Cobb Salad won me over, which is weird because salads are usually ho-hum. The best part of the Foundry Cobb Salad is the bacon, it is thick, bursting with flavor, and still somehow crispy. My ardent wish is to master this bacon technique. The restaurant also has many delicious beers... More

I've been to the Foundry several times and each time it was a positive experience. The waitstaff and personable and knowledgeable. The menu constantly changes, providing a nice variety. On our last visit for dinner, they offered a prix-fixe "Craft Beer Dinner", which was a very good value. You can tell that the ingredients are fresh and the chef does... More

Went for romantic dinner and the experience did not disappoint. The place was not noisy today (can get loud when completely full), which allowed for conversation, the service was attentive and courteous, and the food absolutely delicious. Had the stuffed zucchini with their special creamy sauce, and for dessert, tried their mango parfait. Both culinary delights. Beautifully presented and with... More
