Great place for a drink and a good meal

My sister and I stumbled upon Foundry while we were walking around Davis Square, looking for a beer and casual meal. They had a nice beer & cocktails selection. Our server was happy to make recommendations! I settled on a fruity summer ale. I loved it! We ordered the poutine fries as our... read more

We went for the Sunday brunch on Father's Day and absolutely loved it. We made a reservation because of Father's Day but they do have quite a bit of seating. You can order from the regular menu or have the buffet, which is what we did. The choices (eggs, sausage, mac and cheese, lemon creme crepes, hash browns, beignets, omelet... More

We had a late dinner with our girls. The food and service were excellent, don't miss the cheese truffle fries. We were dressed casual and felt at home though others were dressed sure nicely. Kid friendly. We have also been there for an excellent sunday brunch.

I was looking for a last minute Easter Brunch spot and ended up here at Foundry on Elm. I am so happy to have found this spot just a few miles from home. The brunch was delicious and reasonably priced. We loved the atmosphere and the live music. I would definitely recommend and will plan to go back soon for... More

I went here with my husband and a couple of friends before a show at the Somerville theater. We all selected different entrees and were pleased with each and every one of them. I thought the prices were reasonable for what we got and if I lived closer, i could see myself coming here often. Nice casual place with yummy... More

I ate the best grilled cheese sandwich I've ever eaten here. The bread was crispy and the cheese gooey. Would eat here again.

Went for dinner with family at the Foundry on Elm back in January and the food was nothing short of amazing. We had the Devils on Horseback and the duck flatbread to start and I was super tempted to lick the plates once the food was gone! For the main courses we shared the chicken and the steak - both... We've had a midweek lunch here twice in the last month. Prior to this, we had had dinner here a number of times and really enjoyed our food and drinks. The luncheon menu is basically limited to salads, pizza and burgers. For both of our lunches, we sat at the bar. The service was excellent and the beer selection was... More

Foundry hits that sweet spot between refined and relaxed - the perfect Friday night spot. I estimate that I've been there 10 times, and the food is always great, as is the service. They make a mean old fashioned, and if you need a second after dinner, head to Saloon a couple of doors over and select from their ridiculous... More
